What a great family owned small business in Watertown! Every time I come in here, it feels like an episode of Cheers, where everyone knows your name!
Coupled with delicious Italian food and drinks, make sure you swing by if you are ever in town!

Had to wait almost an hour to get apps😡soup and main entree another 15 min! Food was good
Other customers in and service was immediate for them! They were served before we even got our app(mozzarella en carozza) The customers that came in after us were complaining of no sauce tastes

Outstanding every time. Real Italian cuisine and excellent specials. Also, they have the best pizza anywhere. 5 stars all the way around!

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating staff. Deserts were also delicious. Highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

The menu is wildly overpriced. These meals would be expensive at half the list price. Nonna Lucia's has, certainly, not gained a new customer. My barber, in Thomaston, recommended Nonna Lucia's to us telling us how the family has been in business for quite some time and even the chef was an Italian from Italy. Okay, we bit.
The daily menu was pedestrian and unimpressive.
Appetizers are priced at entree levels. Escarole and beans were more than $15, from what I remember. Though I love that dish, there was no way I would order it for that much money.
I didn't see an entree for less than $22.
I went last night with my wife and two of my children. The kids had fettucine Alfredo ($16 a plate) and my wife had the gnocchi ($17). Those gnocchi look like they came from Napoli (the warehouse in Cheshire, not the southern region of Italy).
I made the mistake of ordering off the daily special menu; otherwise, I would not have had anything from the main menu. I tried the veal and peppers. I traded the bell peppers out for the long hots.
If it was veal, it must have been part of the shank. It wasn't any scallopini, that's for sure. I asked the waitress what cut of veal was in the dish and she didn't know. So we asked her to query the chef. By the time the bill arrived she still hadn't responded, again I asked. She said she asked up front, but that they didn't know.
My guess is that it was beef, not veal and they did not want to admit it. By the way, price was $27 for about 4 ounces of "veal" and a couple of cut up long hots served over ziti.
Unfortunately two things happened: first, we won't be back, and; second, I guess I'm going to have to find a new barber.

Been here a few times in the past few months, and always a nice experience. Friendly staff, really good food and nice atmosphere, especially with the half open-air dining room.

We always order the chicken Cobb salad , never again after last night. Fried calamari was the worst we have ever had.

I wish that I could give 0 stars. I never leave reviews but I felt like I had no choice with Nonna Lucia's! I ordered the chicken marsala and it was disgusting! It was bland and soaked in alchohol. I called the restaurant to speak with someone about my experience and was spoken to so rudely I couldn't believe it. Save your money and dine elsewhere!
