Famous Dave's Bar-b-que

This restaurant has ample parking. The parking lot is easy to use even on a busy Friday night. They have a variety of seating options. It was busy, tables get full on Fridays. Staff was rushed but friendly. The food came quickly and was fresh and hot. The beef brisket was underwhelming. It seemed rather bland. The toast didn't help. The dull cutlery didn't help. The pork was okay. The flavor of the meat was lost in the sauce. The corn was good. The mac n cheese was awesome, it had a bit of a kick and corn. It was different but it worked. If you expect creamy cheesy comfort mac and cheese this isn't it. Rather small portion. The fish was very good. It was juicy and cooked just right. However it had a spicy coating which was a surprise. Overall it's a bit of mixed bag.

Had a pretty good meal at this restaurant. Lots of tables but pretty busy on a friday evening, that we almost didn't get a seat - we ended up on the lounge side of the restaurant. The portions were smaller than I expected - could have more mac 'n cheese as a side. The fish was good if you like spicy food, but was surprised that it didn't talk about the spice/heat in the batter in the description on the menu. The corn bread was very good. Loved the BBQ pineapple spears - grilled to perfection. The pulled pork was good.

My wife lived in Texas and said it was pretty authentic. Her chilli was not that great and her chicken was okay. My ribblets were great and we liked the fries. There were some menu items missing like the sausage but we were there on a Tuesday so it's understandable that not everything would be available. Nice sauces, we each had a favorite. We received good service and had a good experience overall.

Fabulous! Fabulous! & Fabulous! We saved our date night to today for lunch. We enjoyed the dinner for two. Excellent tasting food!! Superb service by our waiter and the host!! Seriously a wonderful first experience for me at this restaurant!! I couldn't help but give rave reviews to the manager. What a friendly man. We have had famous Dave's truck come out to a church event and had a taste of their pulled pork sandwich. I hugged him and said we have found our new Winnipeg favourite restaurant💜💜. Thank you for a special date with my husband!! We'll be back💜💜

We placed an order for curbside pickup, when we are about to pick it up, the woman on the phone said "you have to come in" when we checked the order at home, the sauces we requested are missing. Kinda frustrating, this food is for my daugther's birthday. PLEASE change your curbside pickup to instore pick up if you are not willng to go out. Busy? Then don't offer curbside pickup
