Kitchen428 Restaurant

Here in town for a business trip, I went to the map and looked up restaurants and found a couple with good reviews and gave Mojo's a shot just by chance and I'm glad I did. The outside of the restaurant reminds me a lot of New Orleans the appearance and the vibe of the street feels like you're in Louisiana. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a very nice bar and a flat screen TV to keep up on sports. I ordered the wagyu bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was absolutely amazing, tasted really good. The bun was so soft and tasted homemade. The steak fries were also very good. They have a few beers on tap and also offer the full wet bar experience. Service was excellent! Give it a shot and be glad you did. The reason I did not score this a solid five star was because their menu was limited. (My Opinion) But definitely very good food!

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed the food. I had the 12oz prime rib which comes with the mashed potatoes and veggies. My wife had the Rosemary Chicken Breast. It comes with the garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. Her plate was also really good. We also had the spinach artichoke dip and the chocolate cake which were both delicious. The place is nice, clean and the staff was great. I would definitely come back.

Not very tasty. The menu is uninspired and the food is overpriced. The service was sub par at best. We not only didn't appreciate any of the menu items we ordered but downright disliked almost everything that our party of 24 ordered. This is not fine dining more like wannabe upscale Applebee's with some french bistro type menu items. The Korean stuffed bread had a strange sweetness about it.

Disappointing. Read why. 428 is one of our go to special restaurants. This time negatives balanced positives. Entrees were lukewarm served on hot plates. Two in our group had rosemary crusted chicken breasts. Mine came with one piece of breast and a wing. Two had ribeye also served warm. Spring veggies were scorched. Dinner for four plus tip $202. High point was salmon crab cakes. $17 for four.

We planned to go somewhere else on a Sunday and they were closed. Turned out to be a good thing although we didn't think so at the time. We stumbled on this gem and we're definitely coming back! It's one street off the main strip that runs through town. It has indoor, air conditioned seating and a really nice outside patio for dining. It has nice lights and patio heaters for the dinner crowd. We went for lunch. I had a bleu cheese wedge salad that was one of the best I had (and I get them a lot). Two of us got burgers and they were both cooked perfectly to our liking. Another person ordered the Monte Cristo and commented on how fresh and flavorful it was. It was all so fresh. The 'farm to table' experience was capped off with very flavorful fruits and vegetables. The tomatoes were so flavorful I was almost suspicious! We ended by sharing a peach / berry cobbler for dessert that was so good we were on the verge of wrestling for the last bite. The service was very attentive and professional. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. She wasn't afraid to make great recommendations. Put this place on your list if you want great quality food and service at a fair price. You won't be disappointed.
