I had some higher hopes for Scribblers but it was just okay. It's about a 40 minute drive for us so I won't be making the drive just to come here unless I was passing through Woodland already. The drink menu is standard, no specialty drinks, but on the plus side they do have oat milk! Their sandwiches and salads are premade and in the refrigerator case. My egg salad was made yesterday per the sticker on the outside of the box - so yes it's still good but probably would taste better if I had a fresh sandwich with bread that wasn't in the fridge for a day. The egg salad inside had good seasoning but just wasn't as stuffed as I would've liked. My iced raspberry green tea was tasty but simple, and almond milk mocha was even better, so definitely plus points on the mocha drink. I tried a bite of the bacon and egg burrito which was nice and crispy on the outside, but it was so tiny for $6.50! I wish I had stuck with a pastry instead of the egg salad. They could probably sell some more pastries if they were displayed more out in the open too. Another downside, it took almost 20 minutes for the drinks and burrito to come out and there were only two other orders in front of ours. So if you're looking to grab something to go here, just beware if you're rushed on time.

I absolutely adore Scribblers! Everyone is kind and inviting, and the environment is darling. The oat milk is a delicious milk alternative, too! Shoutout to Bobby for recommending the beet salad and for making a heart on my latte ❤️

I've been wanting to explore Woodland for a long time, and I finally got around to it today. I scoured the web for recommendations about coffeehouses in Woodland, and the one that consistently got the best reviews was Scribbler's on Main Street. Those reviewers were not wrong! This coffeehouse is terrific (with a few minor caveats). Here are the highlights: 1) lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor! There is a big table for large groups, at least three couches and/or armchairs, and seven or so outdoor tables, about half of which are shaded by a canvas awning that blocks out the sometimes brutal Central Valley sun. 2) Great coffee with lots of options and knowledgeable, friendly baristas! 3) Outdoor seating is non-smoking and pet-friendly! 4) A few coveted electrical outlets! 5) Reasonable noise level! 6) Great location, right along Main Street, close to attractions, shops, and other restaurants. 7) Free wifi! All of these equal terrific coffee shop experience in my book.
The few drawbacks: 1) Street parking. Usually not a huge problem in Woodland, but it is an issue. 2) Prices are high, considering the locale. I paid $5+ for my red-eye (coffee with a shot of espresso) which would raise eyebrows even in San Francisco, where I live. 3) No electrical outlets on the patio, but honestly, I'd rather have the shade (provided) than be able to plug in.
I will be coming here again, for sure. I think it's worth the 1-hour-plus drive from SF to have this kind of experience. Thanks, Scribbler's!

The best coffee spot in town! Friendly and great atmosphere, with restaurant style food that's easy to grab and go!

I read a review saying this is the best coffee house in Woodland. I hope not! Space wise, yes it's cute, spacious and nice atmosphere, but the coffee is only average and I'm a conneseur. I was disappointed. But the prices, for California, seemed reasonable for the coffee, food was higher priced. Staff super friendly and helpful.

It’s a very nice and comfortable place. People are friendly, coffee is good. Have been there 3 times and yet to find fresh pastries. Either day-old or stale. When we got there today, the truck from the village bakery pulled up and we thought fresh pastry. I ordered a blueberry scone and it was not fresh at all. There were 4 of us and none of the pastries were fresh. I like the place a lot but will stick with the coffee which is great.

This is one of the best coffee spaces between Davis and Woodland with a great indoor and outdoor study space. They have comfy couches, roomy benches and lots of tasty options on their menu. Be aware, the prices are set for a coffee house, mid to high. You'll pay a pretty convenience fee for a snack, essentially.

Seems to be one of the comforable & casual Coffeehouses plus, meaning they serve alcohol type beverages also. It's not 'too comfortable that you fall asleep' not too casual as the staff are not wearing pajamas. The feel of SCRIBBLER'S COFFEEHOUSE is open, a loft like room in back, where I enjoyed my latte & muffin, with the front room more cozy in earth tones & tunes. My budget rated this COFFEEHOUSE 4 stars, rest of me rated 5 stars.
