The Local Uptown

Two issues…first I am really sick and tired of just anybody allowed to bring their pet dog into an eating establishment other than a legit service dog. I had to sit there while this dude had his pet pooch tied to his chair trying to enjoy the now COVID high price of dining, the dog was drooling for his owner to feed him YUK YUK of course ruined my dining experience. Second, although the waiter was a nice guy, we had to ask for napkins and he never refilled our beverage. I will say though the hamburger was good and the best onion rings.

We went for lunch and the food was very good! I had the local cheeseburger, fries, and sweet tea. All of it was so good. I've always heard they had good food, but with someone recently telling me that they had re-done it and the smoke smell was gone I wanted to try it. No smoky smell; just a regular restaurant with a bar (at least for lunch! 😁). I will be back to try other things.
