Excellent quality food with all dishes and friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful location/view, just a little confusing when trying to find it. Buffalo wings and chips is fresh and very spicy. Steak was cooked perfectly. Sticky pudding moist and tasty note:has raisin/sultanas in it - 6.30pm, 16.07.17.

My partner and I were a bit hesitant at first due to the original interpretation that the venue was more focused on drinking rather than dining. We were pleasantly surprised at the level of service and quality of food provided. New menu launched last night and the food was amazing, great atmosphere and staff.

We shared an excellent platter of cooked meats and calamari, together with wedges and roasted veg. It was very good indeed, washed down with some wine from the comprehensive list. Desserts were excellent too, all at a reasonable price. One thing to mention: It is at the waterside and once the sun goes down the temperature quickly plummets. Take a jumper/cardigan! Recommended restaurant though, definitely.

Go here. Great service. And I absolutely love how the pour my whiskey. They just pour direct from open bottle where most bars use nip pouring ends. So It ends up being next to nothing in my glass. I mean I get it if bartenders need to measure to build a cocktail or similar. But I just have whiskey straight no ice..no coke. Just straight so what's to measure! Just pour! So well done bartenders at anchor drink and dine. 5 stars just for knowing how to pour a straight whiskey! It's a about time these other bars learnt.
