This was very nice sea food! I had a sea brass and until now I didn't know that sea fish can taste so good (just like trout I very much like and am used to). It feels homie here. The service is slower because it's a smaller place, but I really liked the relaxed vibe because I was alone and wanted to just chill and not just eat quickly and go. The staff is very kind and patient. In general very much enjoyed it and would recommend and come back again. The music and decor are great as well.

Rustic hole-in-the-wall authentic off the beaten track two blocks from the tourist Mecca. HIDDEN JEM! We visited the Palace of the Popes, walked the tourist side streets and finally found peace and relaxation when we stopped here for lunch. I ordered the seabass and my friend the vegan risotto. Seabass was cooked perfectly as bones were easily removed on one piece. Risotto and grilled vegetables were properly cooked.

Amazing yet very quaint place. If you love fresh fish, you need to visit. My wife had seared tuna and I enjoyed the sea bass. That coupled with freshly sautéed scallops for a starter and fry rose from a local winery makes this a must visit restaurant when in Avignon. The music, an American mix of Blues Brothers, U2 and Dillon was a bit odd but provided for some interesting conversation.

What a delightful little seafood restaurant located right around the corner from our Airbnb room. I ordered the seafood soup as an appetizer and the quested Seabass as my main course. My wife The assorted seafood appetizer as her main dish and was not disappointed. The assorted seafood appetizer was better than any seafood platter we have ever had and we been to many restaurants. The dish comprised of escargot, shrimp octopus sardines. The crusted Seabass was cooked perfectly and was enjoy by us both. It came with sautéed vegetables and a Jasmine rice which was cooked perfectly. They are out of the white wine which we had selected but the Red wine we ordered which was like a Pinot Noir was perfect The waitress spoke very little English but we were able to communicate perfectly and had no difficulties. This little seafood restaurant was a perfect ending to a wonderful day and Avenue

Not many restaurants open inside the wall city on a Sunday, but La Petite Peche was. We had gone to a wine tasting and the owner recommended La Petite Peche. The food was simple but very very fresh and tasty. Not a lot of seasoning because the food simply did not need it. When fish is fresh, why load it up with seasoning? It was perfect for my husband and I, we don't like too much salt or seasoning in our food. It was a fantastic lunch. Our waiter was terrific, we enjoyed chatting with him. Their music playlist was great and it was a very chill place. Merci c'était super.

I was close to giving it 5 stars. What is really great in the restaurant is the atmosphere. It is pretty, the music is just right, and the staff is simply sweet.
The restaurant has WI-FI, one man/women clean shares toilet, prices are very good and they accept credit card.
I don't think the staff had any serious training though and the food was nice but not the best we had in the city. For the price it was very good though.

The third of three just wonderful little bistros I ate at in Avignon, this one right around the corner from the Hotel d'Europe. It's a very small menu: four appetizers and three fish entrees the night I was there. The owner gets whatever is on the boat and works from that. It's a very small place with just one waiter, but service was well-paced even as it filled up.
I started with the fish soup, which is just a deliciously rich fish stock with some small pieces of fish in it. It has the lovely brown color that you know is just right. It is served with some crispy bread. My main was the daurade, which was grilled perfectly and very well seasoned, accompanied by a mixture of rice and fresh vegetables. Very light and delicious. It went very well with the glass of white wine I had. Dessert was the lemon and apricot sorbet. Again, light, fresh, and delicious. A perfect dessert for that meal.
Three courses plus a glass of white wine totalled about 35 Euros, which made it an excellent value. Also, the waiter's English is more than good enough if your French is limited.
If you're staying at Hotel d'Europe or near Place de l'Horloge, grab a meal here.

What a lovely place! Reviews criticizing the restaurant for its simplicity ignore the fact that it allows you to sample the ingredients at their best. The fish and octopus were cooked perfectly and were unbelievably fresh. The orange cake was incredible. Lovely service. Great experience.

Sympathique restaurant pour manger du poisson, déco sympa, accueil souriant, service rapide et prix raisonnables pour du poisson. Un bon moment. La présentation des plats pourrait être un peu moins minimaliste pour un rendu plus sympa (trait de crème balsamique sur la salade et autres artifices de présentation pourraient égayer l'assiette pour pas beaucoup plus et ravir un peu plus l'oeil!).
Quoi qu'il en soit on s'est régalé, merci à l'équipe. 👌

J'ai mangé ce 24 décembre dans ce restaurant, l'accueil y est très sympa et décontracté la cuisine très bonne, le cadre agréable et le prix très abordable bref pas un attrapé touriste. Bravo à tous les 2 je recommande ce lieux.

Un petit resto super sympa, très convivial et à 5mn à pied du Palais des Papes. Avec son chef Abdou Aziz, vous vous sentirez comme chez vous. Super sympa, attentif et à l’écoute des clients. Petit restaurant très accueillant ! Une carte avec des produits frais et surtout variés ! Le personnel est très souriant et bienveillant ! Le cadre est très agréable, dans une petite rue d'Avignon avec une terrasse ombragée sur demande.
Je recommande très fortement !
Réservation conseillée, l'endroit semble être prisé !

Tout simplement excellent ! L'accueil est chaleureux, tout le personnel est sympathique et la nourriture est délicieuse ! Nous étions 3 et avons testé les différents plats de thon qui sont tous merveilleux. Le tartare de thon est un des meilleurs que j'ai pu manger ! N'hésitez pas à y aller.
