Cafe Via

This place was packed on a Saturday evening, but the food was served in a timely manner. The octopus appetizer was expensive but delicious. We tried the milk braised pork and it was good too. The wedding soup was different from what I’ve had at the other Italian restaurants and I felt like it was Chinese style.

Everything was delicious, John was our server and made everything sound just as good as it tasted. The bread is made daily and you can tell, there were a variety of different breads in the basket and they were all really good. We had steak and mushrooms which was cooked perfect, and we ended up getting the tirimisu which we found out was made from scratch as well by a pastry chef. Thank you guys for your awesome service, everyone was so nice and polite we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place you can't go wrong.

Our first time here, we were excited to try this upscale restaurant. The entire staff, from the hostess to the waitress to the busboys, were outstanding , professional & hustling to make everyone happy. Our waitress was Nicole. Amazing service. It was a beautiful fall evening & we requested to sit outside in their lovely al fresco dining area. The view from my seat was the area where the staff places dirty dishes, to my right was the area where they type in orders & a lovely view of a parking garage. Not what was expected in this caliber of restaurant & definitely wrecks the ambiance. Menu was ok.My husband ordered a pasta dish that he said was quite good. I ordered Italian wedding soup that was very bland, and a Caesar Salad that was supposed to have warm croutons. It had almost no Parmesan & cold croutons (they were homemade & good, tho). Disappointing.

WONDERFUL service and AMAZING food! I really enjoy the ambiance and the way the servers make me feel special. The food is plentiful and delicious and I can tell that the chef really puts love and care into his/her dishes. I will definitely be going back many times, as my experience at this restaurant has been great!

Really like their pastas, especially some of their unique recipes mixing local ingredients for added flavor. They are a little on the pricier side so be prepared for a hefty bill if taking a large family group. Make reservations if you’re going during peak hours, otherwise the wait tends to be long. Sometimes their vegetarian options seem limiting.
