Great soups, salads, and sandwiches! My favorites so far have been the Italian sandwich and lasagna soup. My only complaint is I wished they had an ice machine as the open bucket of ice with the scoop left in seems very unsanitary to me. I usually skip it for a can sparkling water, but that wouldn't be my first choice if they had an ice machine.

Small, tight restaurant along Peachtree nestled next a whole foods natural store, it was very crowded at lunch time. It was popular and the line, 10 deep or so when we got there, moved quickly. The salads, soups and sandwiches are a selection of three or four of each one, allowing for quick turn. The food was very fresh and delicious. Not absolutely amazing, but it was better than 90% of the lunch places out there. Cookies, fruit, drinks came with the combo meals for $14.

Souper Jenny is always a good choice for lunch. I especially like having a different soup experience each time I go. I love soup so for me that's a win. The lunch special includes a soup, salad, drink, cookie and a piece of fruit for under 20.00...

My husband and I decided to stop by here to take our son for lunch when he was in a summer program in the area. I have been wanting to stop by here for quite a while so it was very exciting to come here and see the variety of sandwiches and soups. They were even kind enough to allow us to try soups being that it was our first time there. The soups were good but the sandwiches were delicious. I was also very excited about being able to have the farm to table food. Definitely high-quality ingredients being used. Also recommend this spot if you are trying to create clean eating habits. Prepare for a line but it moves quickly.

Came here for lunch last Friday, and was blown away! The shop is in Nuts N Berries (a health food store), and the whole place screams “your cool aunt’s kitchen”. The 2 women behind the counter have such amazing energy and spirit, singing along to the music and going out of their way to take care of their customers. I told them this was my first time in, and they cheerfully explained the lunch special to me and offered me samples on any soup to help me decide. I ultimately went with their Spiced Carrot & Lentil soup (amazing!) and they upsold me on their sandwich of the day, a Turkey Tomato w/ Aioli (delicious!). The lunch special also comes with bread, a cookie, and a drink. I’ll definitely be coming back here, especially to grab some of their awesome soups to-go!

Pretty delicious soup, sandwiches and salads!! I have tried the chicken Tuscan soup and the tumeric, sweet potato soup. I also have had the veggie/artichoke salad wrap and couscous salad. I love that it comes with a drink, cookie and piece of fruit. Everything was delicious and great flavor without being salty or fat. I love all the vegetarian options!!

Pros:
-friendly staff who let you sample the soup,
-menu changes everyday,
-good chicken pozole soup and pretzel bread,
-mom and pop feel.
Cons:
They have some products sitting out in the open and uncovered, like the ice for the drinks. Seems unsanitary. Also, their sandwiches are pre made and wrapped sitting out in their display area next to the cash register, NOT REFRIGERATED. Same with the salads - pre made, not covered and not refrigerated. Seems a health code violation? Especially if fish or seafood.
I purchased the lunch combo for $15 ($16.20 with tax), and the salmon on my grilled salmon BLT still had fish scales on the bottom. Gross. The top of the salmon had black char marks that made the sandwich bitter and mostly inedible. See photos. Also, It's $8 for about 16oz of soup, and $13 for a quart. The soups are good, but you may go broke eating here often. The lunch combo includes pick 2 entrees, piece of fruit, cookie, piece of bread, and a drink (water or tea). If you don't eat that much, you could turn this into two meals I suppose or share with another person at lunch.
Also, someone below mentioned that food is half off after a certain time - that was not the case when I went in.

I've been going to Souper Jenny since 2002. I hate to report that today I bought turkey chili and I believe it contains the cheap beef served by school cafeterias. It breaks up into tiny bits. I hope I'm wrong, because I would hate to see the end of Souper Jenny.
