Longhorn Tavern Steak House

I ordered chicken fried steak with a side salad and Mac n cheese. I got my side salad, and it had multiple pieces of wilted lettuce in the salad. When I received my chicken fried steak, there were 2 long black hairs cooked into the steak. Mac n cheese was mediocre at best. This was my first time going to this restaurant and will also be my last.

Walked in for a weekend date and had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Appetizer, great huge portion food (I got the SMALL chicken friend steak) two drinks all for $30. Seriously this food was great and the atmosphere was very chill Texan. It is way better to come here for a relaxing/delicious experience than to go through the craziness of college station. 10/10 would recommend! Our waitress was also very polite ❤️ great southern comfort food

We were bummed we had to spend more on a steak we didn’t order. I had asked for the “sirloin for one and add the $7 extra person set up”. Evidently we were delivered two 32oz steaks instead but we didn’t make the connection until we got the bill. Between the two of us we ate maybe 18oz. I’d have rather spent the $50 on better cuts that we could have fit in our stomachs and enjoyed them more. When we brought up the unexpected charge on the tab, the waitress just said “sorry bout that, I thought you ment you each wanted a steak” and left it at that.
