I ordered mutton biriani for 25 people.
It was awesome and we all enjoyed it.

Good food and taste also good , don't expect great ambiance and comfort , cooking time for the dish would take little time if more order came for them.
Taste is good and briyani taste good and there awesome bread Halwa it's awesome and other fried rice etc other foods are good.

The most subtle of Briyani's yet a burst of flavor .Minar brings childhood memories of the best Briyani's, even after 20 years that taste is maintained. Mutton briyani is great but this is one place where the chicken is also close to the mutton briyani perfection.

The place is as old as me. I continue to go there everytime I visit Chennai for its sort of unique Biriyani taste and if afternoon for its puffs & mini samosas, both of which taste fantastic too. In-house made sweet bread is commendable too. I encourage everybody who likes to rotate between varieties of Biriyani to try Minar atleast once (just ask them to make sure there is enough meat - sometimes takeaway Biriyani's are almost meat-free as a Kushka, lol).
I have deducted a star because the premises are not always as tidy as I would have liked them to be. But this could just be my NRI arrogance. Bottom line is, I havent ever been unwell in any form or shape after eating on premises too & only this matters!

Love the food here. Traditional taste, worth for money. Best place for measure or bulk order of Biriyani. Also they do door step at nominal price. Located at Amanjikarai near billroth hospital.

One of the best biryani places in Chennai ,their biryani taste is tremendous but more than that my favourite item is their chicken 65 boneless , which they make it really very tasty .if you are organising a small party or get together this is the best place for you .they provide items in large quantities for party orders without compromising the taste.

The best biriyani i have tasted in my life. You can have great mouth watering biriyani if you order for measures. The ready to serve biriyani is not a great option is just ok. Half measure can serve
6 -7 persons and full measure can serve 12- 13 persons.
