Ellie's Cafe

Ellie's Cafe is a rare gem in the neighborhood! I love eating here. All the employees are genuinely kind and the food is delicious. Also, I have celiac disease, and they continuously make me gluten-free meals with no risk of cross-contamination. I have never got sick once eating here, and it's so wonderful to have a place I can go! Thank you 😁

This restaurant has a wholesome feel to it. I picked up food from here for a delivery and immediately knew that I wanted to come back to dine. I returned Valentines Day 2019. There was one server and when I say that no matter how many people came in to dine, the server gave each and every guest excellent attentive service. (I tend to notice things like that) The food lived up to my high expectations as well. Myself and my guest thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. I ordered the Eggs and Pancakes, my guest ordered the Salmon Benny. Everything was excellent. I look forward to going back and trying something different!

Love the idea of a neighborhood corner cafe, the decor is eclectic, the restaurant very cozy. The food was good and they have a kids menu. Just a heads up though, The corn beef hash is non traditional and there are no fountain drinks. Hours of operation are sparse and best for the retired or a lazy Saturday morning.

I really enjoy going to this neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot. Parking can be a little tricky, but I usually find a spot on Hale (which is a one way that goes north). I usually have breakfast, even in early afternoon. Food is great, staff is attentive and food comes out quickly. They have outdoor seating as well.
