Angilo's Pizza

I don't typically write reviews. Tonight I made an exception. I had the pleasure of calling in and getting Dawn. She was exceptionally friendly over the phone and even told me about a special to save me a few bucks. Somehow I told her I was coming from across town and she offered to wait a few minutes before cooking it so that it would be fresh and hot. Upon arrival, she was just as nice in person. She told me that when she makes the food she makes it "with love"; how she would like it.. Lol. Well let me tell you this is the first time that I can remember that when I got home the steak hoagies were still hot (I'm talking I had to put it down and let it cool a minute). I appreciate good food and I understand prices have gone up. I HATE when I pay more and get less; not the case here. If you want some good steak hoagies swing by and hopefully you have the pleasure of meeting Dawn.

Went to Angilo's specifically because of Joe's sassy responses to reviews. Ordered online and went to pick up my food. Nancy was the only person working, but she was making due and was nothing but friendly. I ordered the Double Play and the Ziggy. The pizza crust was only alright -- I've absolutely had worse but not the best either -- but the size was pretty good. But walking in and talking to Nancy, I can tell this place is a neighborhood staple. They take care of their customers and their customers take care of them. Definitely give it a try! Note: "pizza bread" isn't French bread pizza or anything, it's hoagie bread with pizza sauce and cheese. Pretty tasty!

We got three pizzas and a steak hoagie with fries. The food was delicious! Angilo's locations are getting harder and harder to find, and this was a great one. Dawn (Big D) was working, and she was great. Very personable, happy to deal with our special diet needs, and made sure we with happy with our food before we left to bring it home. We got take-away, but the location did have two small 2-seat tables inside, and two picnic tables outside. I can't wait to order from here again. There was also some cute logo merchandise - mugs and t-shirts - that I didn't buy this time around, but I probably will next time.

Ordered Ziggys and French Fries with Cheese. Excellent!! Had to go back for more! Brought back memories of Old Mason! The Ziggy is a meatless Hoagie that was started in Mason for Lent. It is a baked sandwich on a Hoagie roll with pizza sauce, provolone cheese, onions, and pickles. Slathered with butter after it comes out of the oven.

I stopped by recently and was AMAZED on how awesome they are! There food was Great! Their new owner Joe is AMAZING. He is so nice and very easy to talk to. They have great music and a great patio outside! They work with customers and go out of their way if need be. They have new great sweets like pumpkin rolls and the awesome cookies and cream cookies. I would recommend trying these. So why wait stop by after work or even with your friends and have yourself a great experience!👍😁😁😁
