Thunder & Buttons Ii

Our family had dinner there on Friday night. I would say it is popular place! The food is awesome, draft beer as well. They have kids menu. If we would be in Colorado Springs, definitely will come back. Very fun time with friends and awesome food. We found parking on the parallel street. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing bar. Food was great! Had the Chili Mac and the Fried Calamari. The Chili Mac had a very smooth texture, and the Calamari wasn't rubbery. It was perfectly cooked. The Garlic chili sauce was perfect! The Calamari had the perfect blend of slight heat with good, rich flavor. I would definitely eat here again!

The food was so delicious 🤤 the chef was kind enough to make a few alterations. On the buffalo burger my husband changed the bread to sour dough and it was so yummy!! I chose a different cheese for my mushroom burger... So yummy 😋 They were a little short staffed but both waitresses were super nice. The bathroom needs updating and the seating is a little weird but overall the place was comfortable. I would recommend it! The food was amazing!!

Absolutely wonderful place. My goodness, they had the best Buffalo burger I've ever had. Cooked just perfectly. Pretzel bun, bacon, etc. All made it come together just wonderfully. If you have room, the bread pudding is just amazing. So try that one. The place itself just exudes the old time ambiance. I really like the interior design and layout and the nice bar. Service was awesome, very friendly, and attentive ladies. Definitely a great place to stop by if you're in the area, especially if you're visiting Pikes Peak or Garden of the gods.

It’s been a long time since I have gone to Thunder & Buttons in Old Colorado City. It hasn’t been for any reason, we just haven’t made it there. I am so glad this is where we chose to go tonight. The food was beautiful, delicious and exactly what each of us wanted. We had wings for an appetizer (no pic-eaten before I thought about it), Surf and Turf sub extra veg for mash, Ultimate Mac-n-Cheese, and the O’Byrne Burger (all pictured but dim lights did not do justice to the true experience). It was so good. Service was solid, not hurried, gave time to enjoy our meals. I wish I could remember our servers name because she rocked. Definitely a place to get back to more frequently.
