Il Vicino University Village

It's a little odd, but a welcome surprise. Basically, you order like an old diner (i.e. you order at the counter, pay, and they give you a number to go sit at a table). The counter staff are well trained and very swift in taking your order but treating you well. The food comes out within 15-25 minutes, high quality, and delicious. It's definitely a great place for smaller groups, birthdays, and reunions with family or similar events, as long as you mind your manners. I will definitely like to come again, maybe to show it off to another member of the family. You certainly don't expect it to be such a nice experience when you look at it from the outside, but it is certainly a wonderful one on the inside. Much appreciated.

Great location! Great portions, for 15 bucks I got a small pizza, side salad, and a drink.I visited on Friday afternoon and the service was amazing and everyone was so nice! They don’t advertise their nutrition numbers on the menu but it was easy to find online with a quick Google search. They also have outside eating area that was pet friendly!

It's probably the best value pizza you might be able to get in town. Idk much about Colorado Springs, but they had this small combo that was like 15 bucks, which was great. I'm a big dude, but that pizza was tiny but filling, and the salad was great. Gave a 4 star just cause the pizza is small but I guess that's what get for ordering a "small" combo. You probably should only dine in because we got it to go and it's slightly worse cold.

Love this place! The food and service are both great. A very good place to go with kids. I love that you pay upfront so you can just leave the table when you’re done. No flagging down a waiter for a check. But it has a more elevated atmosphere than a regular counter service place. Plus wine and beer :)

I had the most delightful experience at Il Vicino! The pizza was absolutely fantastic, and the hot oil topping added the perfect amount of kick to every bite. We just moved to Colorado Springs from N. Texas and we’ve been eating around trying to to find really good places to replace all those we left behind. Il Vincino definitely fits into our NEW favorites list. Pizza was quite good. Unique flavor and delicious. Staff was good too. We will CERTAINLY be back. Highly recommended.👍🏻👍🏻
