Chaang Thai

Looks like maybe a small family restaurant. The food had perfect flavor. Has that small town feeling. My only con is that my meal could've been spicier as Thai hot, it seemed more like 2/5 on the heat, but the flavor itself was so good that I didn't mind. The peanut sauce for the chicken satay is stellar!

We came here, a party of 7, and were absolutely wowed. I live out of state and decided to take us there and was absolutely impressed with all the food. We got 8 dishes and ate it family style. I love Thai food and make it a habit to try a Thai place every place we visit. Chaang Thai is definitely at one of the tops on my list of favorites. This was a hit with every person in our party! The service was great and the food came out fast! It was so good, I think I’ll have to eat it again before we go!

Been here a few times and it’s time to leave a review. This spot is located on North Academy across from the Home Depot, next to Car Toys. Today I walked in, sat down and the assumed owner came up and confirmed my order before I opened my mouth. Apparently she had been paying attention the last few times I’ve been here. Had my order memorized to the letter. Now, my favorite Thai dish is yellow curry with chicken. They make it super good here. The spice level is right on point (I get medium and can handle high levels of spice). The flavor is amazing, comes out fresh off the stove, very aromatic. Food comes out very quickly compared to other Thai spots around town. While they don’t have a lot of seating, they have enough to accommodate their clients. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great tasting authentic Thai spot here in the Springs. Sorry no photos, I was too hungry to even think about taking a picture.

Update: I dined in with my family and the experience was opposite of my first visit. The server was attentive and friendly and our food was excellent. Planning to make this a place we frequent occasionally. Original review: The food is amazing! I ordered off of the vegan menu. My three star rating is based on the service. The waitress practically ignored me once dropping off my food and didn’t return until it was time for me to pay. Very disappointing.

We've eaten here several times, to go and dine in, and it always exceeds my expectations! Service is friendly and fast, and the food is fresh! As a vegan among a meat-eating family, I appreciate the vegan menu that is FULL of mouth-watering options! Some of our favorites are the kabocha squash tempura, Thai Samosa, and Thai basil rice. Everything else we've tried has been delicious, as well. The place is small and cozy, but the ambiance is great. It's definitely a favorite spot of ours, and I recommend it to everyone!

What an exceptional restaurant!!! The service and vibe of the place was perfectly accommodated by phenomenal food. The pork belly was crispy and fatty and delicious. The beef salad was fresh and seasoned to perfection. And anyone knows the way to try a Thai place is to order the Tom yum soup. It did not disappoint. Easily one of the top Thai places I’ve ever been.

You will be so glad you tried this place out!!!! My boyfriend and I are regulars here- they are fast, efficient, kind, and so clean!!!! The restaurant is aesthetic and warm, and the food is absolutely delicious. Try the pad Thai!!!! We love supporting this small business and you should give them a try! Great vegan and vegetarian options as well. Update a few years later 9/23/2020 They’ve updated the inside of the restaurant and it looks amazing!! I still love it here and always experience wonderful service and quality.
