China Gourmet

I usually order through doordash so I can't speak for service or atmosphere. I will say that I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that is good. I have tried many places around here and there is something terribly wrong with every single one accept this one so far. Other restaurants always have like overly greasy rice or they add tumeric or something which is weird and the yellow color is unappetizing and doesn't look natural (even if it is). Or the meat is really chewy or burnt and rubbery if it is breaded. I tried dragon King on Mesa ridge last and it was awful. This place, the food feels cleaner. The rice looks correct and they give pork fried rice with the combos unlike other places. The vegetables are steamed right and not overcooked. The steamed dumplings are simple but good. The ponzu sauce that goes with is awesome. I still need to try more foods there but everything has been good so far and I was about ready to give up on Colorado springs for Chinese food. I went give it 5 stars at this point only because the fried rice doesn't have and veggies or egg in it and tastes kinda like brown rice (idk think it is though). It's not bad tasting just kinda boring. But the main dishes have been good. I think this place has real potential if they just changed a few small details

My family and I have been coming here for years..that staff here is fantastic..they work hard and are great together to provide the very best service to their customers. Always friendly and outgoing. A bit pricey and it's because I believe things aren't cheap anymore.. especially seafood. But when you go to purchase hot food great customer service and you receive it all..what more can you say. You get what you pay for and it's worth the wait..time and money. Great job China Gourmet.. you got my vote. Keep up the great work.

We have been coming here for almost 5 years. Our food is always on point and fresh and hot never have missed an item or anything. We moved across town takes us 20-25 minutes now and will only continue to order from them. I come for Special dish Singapore House Mei Fun which I can’t find other places, but also not willing to risk it other places knowing they only say Singapore rice noodles (no other description or ingredients which China Gourmet does). I have places near me less than a 1/2 mile saying they have it but won’t risk it knowing we have the best with them! Thank you for all you do best Customer service and freshest takeout!! We love y’all. Ordered again tonight it’s my craving.

Love coming here for a quick take out dinner! Love that they have pork fried rice! My complaints are every time i have been...the fried rice is still a bit hard like the rice is undercooked bt a few minutes Also!!! Not sure if the Garlic Chicken is supposed to be so soft...the texture was so soft it was a little odd and ended up not eating it
