Flannigan's Bar & Grill

This was our second time here and we loved it both times. Their stuffed mushrooms are delicious, their prime rib is cooked perfectly, and they have a good selection of desserts. We loved that for our anniversary they left us a Happy Anniversary on our plates and this last time we got to watch eagles flying around outside. That was awesome. We will definitely be back again.

This restaurant provides a very unique setting! The industrial and historic interior is beautiful. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had the works, appetizers, drinks, and entrees. The artichoke dip is a must, I got a steak and my husband got the stuffed shrimp, and the wine/beer list has a lot to offer. We will definitely be back!

With absolutely stunning decor and a beautiful view of the river, this iconic restaurant will meet your every expectation! Although there is nothing listed on the menu as vegan, our waitress kindly brought over the manager who not only made us feel right at home, but gave out extravagant options to choose from. She seemed excited at the challenge to deliver fine cuisine that met our dietary request. To top things off there was a wonderful craft beer and lovely wine menu with the option to request your own cocktail from the bar. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

Spent a wonderful evening here with friends for an anniversary celebration. The salmon entre was perfect with just the right amount of butter sauce. No fishy taste. The side of green beans were not overcooked but were also not crunchy, just perfect. The staff was polite and helpful for our large group of 28. A lovely time! No complaints.

My wife and I had 5:00pm reservations Friday for dinner and were immediately seated by a very pleasant hostess with great seats by the window river seats. Shane was our server and was immediately on top of our beverages and appetizers. He took the time to explain our choices on the menu and was Just all around pleasant and social with a great personality. Definitely will be back .

Great Sunday Brunch, best in Iowa! It is a buffet so those who may be sensitive to buffets you may want to go somewhere else but you would be missing out on a great brunch. We sat in the river room which had a great view of the dam. The rest of the restaurant was pretty dark. Go try it, you'll like it
