Casa Italia Restaurant & Pizzeria

We ate there recently and not sure if it’s worth a revisit. Food served was great but service was far from acceptable. Dining with only four other tables thru the course of the evening two waitresses had lots of time to do a much better job.they spent lots of time chatting with each other. Several empty tables sat untouched with their dishes etc uncleaned the entire evening!.A couple that came in well after us had their dinner before we even had soup and salad. Our food was served with no cutlery on the table. After a wait to try to get our servers attention I waited at the counter until she eventually came out. My salad was brought out long after his soup was eaten. We waited an eternity for the check.

We were there last night for the first time, and it was excellent. There was only one server, but we were prepared to be patient, and the food was worth the wait. The portions were extremely generous, the prices are reasonable, and everything was delicious. Our longtime "go-to" Italian restaurant recently got rid of their entree offerings, and we were looking for a new favorite....I believe we may have found it.

We are new to the area and ate at Casa Italia for the first time last night. The food, portion sizes and service were excellent. My husband said the calamari appetizer was the best he ever had. I had the seafood Gorgonzola and that was to die for!! We love the fact that they have whole wheat pasta and BYOB. This is our new favourite Italian restaurant!!

Order was perfect got a large pie extra cheese and fries. Fries were excellent, pizza itself was really good, no seasoning required as I normally add garlic crushed red pepper and oregano to my pizza. The end crust had a sweetness to it which was different, im thinking a sourdough. No complaints just threw me off guard. Ordered through Uber eats food arrived at perfect eating temp. Overall no complaints, was just shocked by the crust. Will definitely order from there again.

The food was excellent, ... service, not so much!!! When the waitress finally came over to take our order, it took forever to get our drinks. Our meal came out and was absolutely delicious. Nice portions and very flavorful. However, halfway through the meal, we both needed refills, and the waitress was nowhere to be found until she finally checked back to ask how everything was after we were 75% finished eating (good thing we didn't have an issue). She took one glass and came back with a refill, and I was like, what about mine? She did apologize, and then took glass. We finished eating and waited and waited (still no drink refill for me). She finally came back, and asked if we needed anything else, so I said, my drink refill would be nice. So she left again, only to come back with the wrong beverage and scamper back off in a hurry. Mind you there were only 3 tables in the restaurant, and another server had the other 2. At this point I just sucked it up. Twenty minutes later of trying to get her attention for a box and the check. Then, the waiting game started all over again. 15 minutes went by and she never came back for the payment. So, we took it up to the take out counter to try and get cashed out. I have never had such lackadaisical service in my life, thank goodness we didn't really have any other place to be in a hurry. The great food will make us come back, but definitely NOT the service!!!
