Boser Geist Brewing

Five stars isn’t enough to give this place. I’ve been to over 100 breweries and would rank this as one of the absolute best. Every beer was smooth, flavorful and kept me wanting more. They have mastered the fine art of flavor pairings while having something for everyone. James, our bartender/new best friend, went above and beyond for us! He made the experience one we will never forget. If you are ever in the area and looking for a chill vibe with outstanding beer, look no further.

Not only a wonderful destination brewery right on the Lehigh River bike path, but an incredible restored industrial revolution complex with historic buildings and one of the better breweries in the region with decently priced family friendly food menu. Did I mention the incredible assortment of beers including an excellent outstanding IIPAs, sours and other great beer options.

I live here and really had higher hopes for this place. The food here is good. It’s a little pricy for a burger but I think their meat is high quality so I’d say it’s worth it. I’ve only ever gotten one thing I didn’t like (buff chicken wrap). The pretzel is really good and so are the cauliflower “wings”. So why 3 stars? The service here is actually terrible. Like I said we live at the Silk Mill and we have been here 5x and it’s never been a positive experience to dine in. We have given it a lot of chances based on purely connivence. You don’t get a dedicated server sometimes and there’s a lot of finger pointing for extensive wait times or completely being ignored for 20+ minutes. Last time I went we flagged a server down to order drinks, then a meal, then for the tab. We also went in prior to that with a 9 top and the server was absolutely miserable and rude to all of us. There are tons of places to eat downtown and even right there in the silk mill with much better service. Sorry but it’s a total miss for me when you’re treated like a bother just for being a customer. It’s better to order out and get drinks at the distillery. But don’t expect them to walk it over even though we have been told they’d deliver it. 🙃

First and last time I will ever go here. We had reservations for Mother’s Day and they gave our table away, then lied about it. We were told “the rest of our party was already there” and our name was crossed off the list already. Sat 4 of us at a small table and when questioned about it they said the bigger “reserved” tables were for bigger parties. However there were parties of 4 sitting at those tables. Food was cold and a side ordered was never brought out to us. We had to ask for silverware. Needless to say I will never be going back here.
