Seafood Bar

I’m normally not a fan of low country boils, but Seafood Dock hits different. It has elevated this brutish serving style to an art form worthy of return visits. The difference here is incredible preparation, flavor, portions, service, and ambiance. You get a lot of food for the price with many options for customization: shrimp, crab, mussels, etc. The food arrives fast, and the severs walk you through every (messy) step. The venue features a sports bar that stretches the length of the dining room and is adorned with nautical decor. Perhaps it’s gauche, but I don a bib (provided) and eat the seafood with my fingers right out of the boil bag. It makes leftovers facile to pack up to take home. My one critique is the spiciness scale of their menu is too tame. We ordered our broils medium spicy at the server’s recommendation and we could easily have tolerated and enjoyed hot. Pro Tip: Look for Seafood Dock’s generous coupons in Gainesville’s Mint magazine.

There were certainly no lack of food. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday and to take my guess that had just arrived that afternoon from out-of-state. We went for the seafood boil but got a couple of starters, a catfish and a seafood Fry basket with free hush puppies, as that was the special that night. We were celebrating my birthday and I received a free dessert plus a $20 gift card! A great place for celebrating 😀🎉 and I will definitely be going back to try that seafood! 🥰

Our new favorite restaurant! Went there today for the first time. Hubby and I really enjoyed their delicious wings, appetizers, and of course seafood! Everything tasted fresh and amazing! Our waitress Sydney was sweet, polite and super efficient! She always checked on us with a smile to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Excited to try everything in their menu. We'll be back for sure!❤️

The food quality of flavor was really good they only seem to have two menus if you know what I mean and expensive side at a cheapside my brother had the expensive side in other words one of the boils and it was really really good and I had some fried fish and shrimp and they were really good one of my barometers is french fries and they were outstanding our server was a lot of fun and I loved the ambiance.
