China Village

We went because it was supposed to be a buffet, it was not. But the food was quite good, the service was terrific, and the prices were reasonable. They had house made duck sauce and hot mustard that were phenomenal. It was a small place, and we got there right before the rush. The place filled right up. And it was a Tuesday evening. They have a full bar, though we didn't order drinks. There was eight of us and they had no problem accommodating us, but had we gotten there later, I am not sure that would have been the case. I would definitely give them another go.

Went for Mother's Day. First off, this place is immaculate! So clean and the service and wait time were very impressive. What wasn't impressive was the quality of food. Pork Fried Rice tasted old, came in a big clump on my plate and looked very unappealing. Next, General Tso's Chicken was a very mushy consistency, not a firm chicken tender at all, texture was off, but the taste of the sauce was good. Lo Mein was dry and bland. I don't believe for a minute anything on my plate was made to order. I really wanted to like this place as I have heard wonderful reviews, but for me, this one was a miss.
