This was a brilliant bar for drinking, with a classic wooden style! The red lighting and beverage displays across the wall add another feel, staff were friendly and counter is well-presented. I had a refreshing pint of Rekorderlig Cider at comfortable leather seating, which was clean too!

I absolutely love this place nothing is to much trouble at all. The staff are very good and they talk to you and are very friendly and they look after you.

Just called here today wirh our two large dogs. They were allowed inside and the staff made a real fuss of them while being friendly and helpful when serving us. What a fabulous bar and we will call again.

A lovely bar and coffee house serving beer, wine, coffee and muffins/scones. Table service today was very slow but the quality of coffee was good once it arrived. Nice polite staff, comfortable relaxed lighting.

Fantastic bar set in the beautiful piece hall! Good pricing for where the location is! Staff were lovely and welcoming. Definitely one of my favourite bars in Halifax!!!

Spent a lovely afternoon with 6 school friends here in May..mixed drinks for all, but my pleasure was Aspul cider. Now I can't quote the price as as a group we had a 'kitty' going...but I'm guessing £4.00 a pint. So why at their pop up bar at the Pete Tong concert recently was it being kicked out at £6.00 a pint..? ...get rich quick scheme ? Won't get any future business from me or our group...just greed !
