The Potting Shed

First time I've visited the potting shed and had a good night. We didn't arrive until 12pm and stayed until about 2am but had a good drink and dance. It was really busy and actually arrived as part of some filming we were part of for TV. Don't remember much of the night after plenty of double gin and tonics but would come back. Good music too

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and there has been a real shift in the service standards recently, perhaps initial opening teething problems ironed out. The staff are friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Friday Prosecco and Champagne offer is a bargain and my favourite time to visit as it is accompanied by live music which seems to be different every week to keep it fresh and new.

This chain bar is a welcome addition to the options for eating and drinking in Halifax as it's a bit more upscale than some of the other chains. There's plenty of space, plenty of seating and the prices are pretty good, especially if you're LBG staff and get discount for showing your staff pass. This applies at all times apparently. Service is generally pretty good, although they were having issues with one of the beers last time I went in and a colleague had to send back 2 pints before he got one that was acceptable.
