Phoenicia Mediterranean

Wow, what a gem! We were visiting relatives near here and had taken the train in from Chicago. We were looking for a good place to eat and we love Mediterranean food, so we decided to give this restaurant a try. Again, wow! We live in South Florida and have access to several Mediterranean restaurants in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale that we've eaten at; this place is as good as the best and is better than several. The staff is very polite and professional, and the owner is a delight to talk to. (For us the mark of a good restaurant is when the owner/manager walks the floor and actually speaks with the customers to see how the dining experience was) If you like Mediterranean food you have to give this restaurant a try.

Enjoyed a business meeting with coworkers who never had experience with Mediterranean food at a friendly and peaceful environment. Excellent service and great experience. David, our server was very personable. Fay, the owner welcomed us as soon as we arrived. She checked on the food and service several times. Coworkers loved the food and enjoyed the time.

Everything from the service to the food was outstanding. The staff is so kind and engaging. The food was amazing, and the portions were the perfect size. The menu has a wide range of choices and nothing disappoints. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The food was perfectly spiced. My vegetarian couscous was huge— enough for two or three meals— so they boxed it for my next day’s dinner. Our server was knowledgeable and unobtrusively helpful. The ice cream was perfect complement to our flavourful meal. Our entire party of five enjoyed every dish, and lingered to talk in the pleasant atmosphere. Try this undiscovered gourmet delight!

We love the place! The owner greets you as you walk in. She always remembers you and is genuinely interested in what you have to say. The interior is nicely done. They white table cloth but don't worry you can be casually dressed. I like the kafta and the wide selection of hot teas. Oh and the baklava!

I’ve never been more pleased with food, ambiance, hospitality than I have been here! I ordered the stuffed salmon w/potatoes and cabbage. Could not say I’ve ever eaten a better tasting salmon! Perfectly cooked, if you don’t enjoy too much sauce clarify your specific preference. However flavor and taste do not lack in the main dishes. Veggies were not over salted or slathered with butter! Freshly steamed and perfect!! I’ve never been happier to pay for a meal! Great hosts and will be making this a place we will try to get to when we can.
