This place was on my friends list of places to check out for a while. We were actually right around the corner so we jumped in. Wow!!! Love this place!!! Love Angie and her sis!!
I had a roast beef sandwich. The bread was that chewy yummy. Roast beef was tender and thin cut slices. Tomatoes are diced !!! I love it diced!!! There isnt a tomato pulled out when you take a bite. So brilliant!!!
My foodie friend had a brisket with those fried onion rings!!! We ate half our sandwich and we were stuffed. Leftovers are the best!!!

First time I tried Sub Culture (in person experience and not take out or Glubhub). I recommend without any reservation. Jersey City local family owned / ran restaurant, to me that’s already worth something. I enjoyed my in person experience there. I had Ruben sandwich;-).

Absolutely phenomenal. Picked up our order (due to COVID-19 dine-in restrictions) and everything was perfect. Highly recommend the Soprano sub. It was so good, I accidentally ate some paper from eating it too fast! I shared this sandwich and the antipasto salad but honestly, I could have eaten the entire sub, it is just that good. Already craving more, I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved it here. The atmosphere was amazing! Nerd/geek heaven. Of course my favorite part was the door to the restaurant because it was the TARDIS. There are 3 classic Nintendos to play. The owners are super duper nice. The food is scrumptious, awesome floats and shakes on deck. Can't wait to go back.

I had high hopes for this place but I was let down to say the least. My Italian sub was absolutely drenched in too much vinegar and the Italian bread they used was terrible and came to me super soggy.

Nice service, interesting and wide range of food served - made from scratch per order so expect to wait 15 to 20 minutes after placing an order. Lots to look at and do - NES systems and movies playing. Great milkshakes!

EDIT: I went back today to take Nick up on his offer. Nick wasn't there but his family still honored the offer and made me a sub on the house. The experience was a total 180 from my last. The sub was beautifully constructed, made exactly how I asked, and the bread was definitely better this time! I wish there was a bit more of the dressing that I requested but otherwise fantastic sub! Besides the food, the hospitality was A+!! Nick's family are kind and goodnatured people!

The inside looks great with all the movie posters but that's about where my love for this place ends. The food is overpriced. The bread is underwhelming in terms of texture, chew, and flavor. The wait time was ridiculous. My sub was decent at best and my two friends were wholly disappointed. Why go here when there are several better spots within a few blocks of it?

This place was rad. My buddy recommended it to watch AEW Double or Nothing and it was well worth the trip from Queens. Food was awesome and so was the decor. Would definitely venture all the way out to JC for the next ppv.
