J ai été logée en gîte et le repas maison délicieux. Part énorme de lasagne, idem pour la part de gâteau au café. Le pain aussi est maison.
Je vous recommande, ombragé, assez atypique.
Cadre agréable, ambiance chaleureuse, prix abordable que demander de plus ? Elaine est adorable. N'hésitez pas à manger chez elle c'est très bon.

A real hidden gem! Totally secret and beautiful garden setting for lovely home cooked food. Pretty tables and parasols set amongst all the flowers and vines, also serving lunches and dinners by reservation, all home made by a delightful lady, Elaine.
We had a delicious chocolate cake and coffee, but can't wait to return to try her home made dishes one evening!
Definitely one we will be recommending to our Gite guests, en route to the historic village of Crozant, only 12 minutes away. Many thanks Elaine for your generous hospitality!!

An absolutely lovely little bar and restaurant.
Quaint and traditional with an almost forest grotto feel to the outdoor seating.
Very very friendly staff and always had a smile. Definitely a place to visit and o am sure you would have a real treat. I look forward to a re-visit.

Always made welcome by Elaine. The courtyard is lovely, sitting among the many plants which are there, and Elaine has her very own style which makes it a different place to visit with lots of atmosphere and lots to look at; it’s like a little oasis. Even the pets are friendly and welcoming and pleased to see you! Coffee and cake is always good. Highly recommended.
Toen ik op mijn Pelgrimstocht helaas de lokale bakker gesloten vond werd ik doorverwezen naar Elaine. Ik besloot om er een bakje koffie te drinken en een brood te kopen. Tot haar spijt moest ze zeggen dat alle brood was uitverkocht. Maar ze had nog wat fruit voor me dat ik mocht hebben. Toen ze me vroeg waar ik mijn volgende stop gepland had vertelde ik haar dat ik in La Souterraine uit wou komen omdat ik een nieuwe regenjas moest kopen omdat de andere uit het zijvakje van mijn rugzak was gevallen ging ze voor mij een sweater pakken die ik ook mocht hebben. Toen heeft ze ook nog een overnachtingsadres voor me gebeld in La Souterraine zodat die weet dat ik er aan kom. Mijn dag kon niet meer stuk met zulke goede zorgen.
