It was Saturday night and we were in serious trouble...
Sitting in the park next to Notre Dame de la Trelle we realized that it was 21h, we were starving and we had no reservations. On a saturday in the Lille city center this is a dangerous position to be in. It these kinds of unfortunate circumstances that lead people to make the kinds of decisions that can haunt a person for hours or even days. If we didn't act fast we might find our selves holding a shitty Kebab or even worse...a shwarma!
I grabbed my girlfriends arm and fled the park as fast as we could stroll, leaving our friends to pick up wrappings from our afternoon visit to the boulangerie. As we headed down the street we stopped at a number of establishments begging for a table outside. You see despite our eminent danger we were determined to take advantage of the beautiful weather and long spring day. After numerous attempts I was starting to feel destitue when we came to la Petite Table...
"Sure, we can accommodate. Give us a minute and we'll bring a table out for you," the manager said (note: this has been translated from french, of course he wasn't speaking english). We were saved!
The service took a little while but what can you expect when they build you a friggin table on request and they more than made up for it by being very friendly and dealing with my oh-so-terrible french with not so much as a furrowed brow. I ordered the steak tartare and she ordered the fish. I'm pretty sure she enjoyed her meal but I'm not sure because I was barely able to hear a word she said over the sounds of angles singing in the background every time I put a bit of that delicious steak into my mouth. It was perfectly seasoned and every bit was purely delightful. I am a bit tartare fan and this was hands down the best I have ever had. I officially had a new favorite restaurant in Lille.
All in all the food was excellent, the service was very friendly and accommodating the atmosphere, on a beautiful spring night, was top notch. Do yourself a favor and eat here often.
Cuisine : plats typiques du nord. Deux ou trois plats possibles pour les végétariens.
Service : accueil souriant et service relativement rapide.
Ambiance : restaurant assez petit.
Petit restaurant avec une décoration et surtout une façade un peu atypique qui pourrait intimider au premier abord. J'ai pu y manger un très bon welsh, bien copieux évidemment (à éviter avant une grosse soirée bien sûr !)
Très bon moment dans ce resto cosy, les plats étaient délicieux (mention spéciale pour les frites), la viande était légèrement nerveuse mais le reste succulent, le service est impeccable 👌
Petit restaurant sympathique, nous y avons bien mangé, la serveuse était très gentille et à l’écoute.
Pensez à réserver si vous voulez manger en terrasse cela se remplit vite
Endroit très mignon, repas excellent avec un service agréable dans une petite ambiance sympathique !

Petit restaurant qui n'a rien d'extravagant à l'extérieur, mais qui a la cuisine des grands restaurants.
Le steak tartare était un régal.
Je recommande.
Un tout petit restaurant mais avec un haut niveau pour la cuisine de spécialités : l'œuf parfait et le welsh sont vraiment à tomber !!! Juste dommage que l'une des deux serveuses (la plus jeune) fasse un peu la gueule... La chaleur du nord n'était pas au rendez-vous avec elle.
Charmant petit resto. Bon service. La pièce du boucher avait une cuisson parfaite et les frites maison étaient excellentes. Bon rapport qualité prix.
Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux. Une carte simple, pas trop de prise de tête. Des plats traditionnels de Lille. J'ai choisis la carbonate flamande. La viande était tendre et les frites étaient fait maison
Comme ça l'indique petite table. Agréable. Serveuse souriante. Mon plat était bon ! Welsch chorizo...
