The Vegetarian Food We've Had in France!
Well, we've only found one other place that was exclusively vegetarian. Nonetheless, the food was excellent! It looks like the menu changes regularly, so I'm not sure how helpful this will be. We each had the Minestrone soup, which was fabulous! It was a different take on what we expected, but we enjoyed it anyway! For plats we had the Buckwheat Gallette and the Assiette Gourmande. What that really means (in American food terms) is that the Gallette is kind of a savory thick patty made of vegetables and buckwheat on a bed of red cabbage and spinach in a savory asian influenced sauce. The gourmet plate was a large salad with various raw vegetables and sprouts under a delicious dressing (not too heavy); in the corner there was marinaded tofu dice and a side of french quinoa with a savory broth. Everything was very original and tasty!
The clientele appeared to be mostly french hippies! The dining area is middle sized, probably seats a total of 30. Don't forget they are only do dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
I was in Lyon for the day had looked up a few vegan restaurants but didn't make reservations as i didn't know what time we would be ready to eat.
Live and learn, when you are on a super restrictive diet reservations are a must...went walking up the cathedral back down and then back up the hill to find a place to eat. Our first choice was full so we ended up eating here, which is rated top 10 restaurant in Lyon.
By the time we got there it was 20:00 ish (15km of walking uphill later) we were jet lagged, tired and starved! The food was delicious but you can't be starving or in a rush...the portions are on the smaller side of things especially if it's your only meal of the day.
I would recommend it but next time I'll make reservations for my number one choice i didn't get the chance to try.

I lean vegan with a focus on unprocessed, whole plant foods, and I'm from Southern California, where such a diet is unusual but not too difficult to implement. I'm living in Lyon for several months, and was thrilled to find this restaurant only a few blocks from home. I don't like most vegan restaurants. They rely heavily on processed fake meat products which I detest, and I don't like meals that rely on bread or pasta, both too processed. I want fresh vegetables, lots of them, and whole grains, beans, and lentils for protein. The meals here deliver just that! I could eat every meal of every day here and be perfectly happy with the variety of foods offered. Most of the meals that I have had in Lyon, while absolutely delicious and certainly not vegan, leave me feeling not well and tired. However I always feel great, energized and healthy after a meal here. Oh, and did I mention that the food is delicious? Really tasty, even non-vegans will enjoy this. The price, while a little more than other options, is well worth it.
This place embodies organic eating! The restaurant is very simple, there is only one chef and a helper. Yet the quality of the food is excellent. The dishes are very well thought out with a creative presentation. If you are a strict vegetarian, this is the place to be. It's very hard to find such a gem in Lyon.
Nous avons testé le brunch un dimanche et il était super. Les plats et les desserts étaient gastronomiques et variés, très bons et avec une belle présentation. Nous avons apprécié tester les différentes saveurs et le sucré-salé du brunch. La beauté et la qualité des plats montrent la variété de recettes que propose l'alimentation végétale. Le lieu est très sympa, et la responsable du lieu était accueillante et a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer. Nous retournerons manger avec plaisir dans votre restaurant. Merci pour ce super repas !
Petit restaurant vegan ce qui est bien rare. C'est excellent et on a pas faim après ! Découverte de pleins d'ingrédients très bien utilisé !
L'ambiance est très familière, on a l'impression de manger chez un ami c'est très agréable et détendu ! ❤️
Au top, un super resto végétalien. On ressort le ventre bien tendu et les papilles ravies.
De jolis équilibres dans les plats, des bonnes saveurs et des quantités généreuses. N'étant pas végétalien, j'aime beaucoup découvrir tout ce qu'on peut faire sans produits d'origine animale. Bravo au chef, on s'est régalés!
Une belle découverte, des plats très savoureux, une ambience chaleureuse, un chef cuisto très agréable et passionné & une serveuse très sympathique ! Merci pour ce moment, nous vous recommandons et reviendrons déguster vos plats :)

Excellent restaurant pour se régaler les papilles avec des saveurs peu communes et des assemblages étonnants mais délicieux! Gaëtan est un cuisinier inventif, talentueux et humble, ses recettes nous ont conquis et nous retournons régulièrement dans ce lieu accueillant, typique du quartier dans son ambiance. Merci ❤️🤤
Accueil très chaleureux par l'une des nouvelles gérantes des lieux. Elle s'est montrée très disponible et adorable!
Ils reprennent le même concept que les anciens gérants, à savoir: vegan, cuisine fait maison, de saison, fraîche et bio...
Bref, tout était bon, avec un petit bémol pour l'assaisonnement, pour lequel ils leur restent encore à ajuster!!!
Je souhaite beaucoup de réussite à cette nouvelle équipe...
P.S.: viste en avril 2023, et c'est toujours aussi bon, et l'accueil est également toujours souriant et sympathique, malgré le changement de gérant!!!!

Soirée très agréable avec un repas délicieux. Produits frais de grande qualité, assaisonnement parfait, jeu de textures excellent, cuisine 100% végétale (vegan). Nous nous sommes régalés et avons passé un super moment dans ce petit restaurant à l'atmosphère si belle détendue. Excellent service de la part du cuisinier et de la serveuse. Je recommande à toutes les personnes véganes ou non, aimant une cuisine locale aux saveurs d'ici et d'ailleurs d'une qualité plus qu'excellente.
Cuisine excellente avec de merveilleux produits, chef au top. Ainsi qu'une très charmante serveuse, très souriante et très professionnelle avec une merveilleuse voix si vous avez la chance de l'entendre chantée
Enfin du bio goûteux, des saveurs riches et généreuses.
Le cadre est chouette, accueillant et tranquille.
Le menu fin et nourrissant.
Le chef est très sympa.
N'hésitez pas ! C'est bon de l'entrée au dessert !
