Helios Little Two

Probably the best lunch restaurant in the south of France. The food is excellently prepared by the chef Didier Moullin with only the best produce from the local Market. The restaurant does not aim for Tourists, even though they speak French, Swedish, English and German at the restaurant. Helios is caters for the locals in Menton and have mostly recurrent quests and once you have tasted the food here, you will very well understand why...... When visiting Menton, we always make sure that we make room for lunch at Helios. A dish as simple as a Croque Monsieurs, becomes an mindblowing taste experience once prepared in the small kitchen. The Moulle Marinier, which has to be ordered a day in advance, does not come any better. It will be something that you will be dreaming about until your next visit to Helios. The restaurant is a small family driven establishment since the late 70ies and the cosy interior invites to make it your second home, where you just hang out during the day, writing post cards, play a set of Backgammon or just follow the life in the restaurant, while Dounette will serve you excellent coffee or anything else that you may require from the bar. Don't miss it if you are in the south of France.
