Cracker Barrel

Always good! Haven't met a Cracker Barrel that wasn't good. It was very busy. Staff was friendly and calm despite how busy it was. Service was quick and hot. We had catfish and the Saturday special Chicken Fried Pork Chops. Both were very good. Especially flavorful gravy on the pork. The shop was well stocked. Also, tidy even though it was so busy. The staff at the registers remained calm and patient even with the grumbling that was going on over rewards program or something and the line for payment.

Edited review. Need to send a special thanks to the store manager and the restaurant kitchen manager. They were quick to listen to my last experience. Which caused me to almost not come back to my fav place to eat but lwts just say if you have patience and you talk to the people incharge with respect and just let them knw what took place things can and will get resolve. This last visit was completely paid for basically on the house. Thankyou for listening to ke and treating us with fast good service. And to think tgey thought we wouldnt be tipping our waitress just because its all on the house? I could never do that. 20$ tip was given just to show our appreciation for the accommodations on our meal! Still by far my Favorite place to eat .. Country fried chicken with sourdough what tastes like bread pudding French toast with confectionery sugar and cracker barrel Fresh maple syrup! Havent tasted something quiet like that in while! Along with the side of Plain jane(the way I like them) homefrie hashbrowns like shredded potatoes fried soo good. Cant forget the famous Country Cracker barrel Dumplings. They're have a chicken dumplings dinner dish if your in the mood for dinner I suggest giving a try. The corn bread and biscuits are a must usually I get eggs but I decided this night I don't need any. But they sure were missed. The plate across from me is a special fried chicken plate like instead of a loaded baked potato , loaded fried chicken with his favorite steak fries! Cant get enough of cracker barrel! Stopped there for the first time because my fellow motorcycle rider suggested we go there while out cruising and i found You get a lot of food at Cracker Barrel and the waitress was outstanding, friendly and made us felt welcomed, had the chicken breast and didn't realize how much food they were going to give me, had to take some home because I couldn't eat it all. The chicken was moist and very tasty, and this place was packed with people which showed me it was popular because of the service and great food
