Spice Garden

This is probably the only Indian takeaway in Morzine. They have all the usual meals to select from. And the menu is reasonably priced. The other slight disappointment with this restaurant is the lack of space for seating instead, as well as the portions that you are given. They are on the small side. Furthermore, when I visited on a Friday, the time between ordering and collecting my food was approximately 40 minutes. So be prepared to wait and understand this might not be your best choice for a quick bite to eat. The staff are otherwise very helpful and the place itself looks clean.

Very helpful, very friendly, great naan bread and a decent curry too. Might be a bit more expensive than similar in the UK but then if you look at food prices in France you will see why. Something of a cafe atmosphere but if you fancy a decent simple curry after a good ski then it’s a quick and pleasant solution

Service excellent. They couldn't do enough for us (a party of 8). Yes, more of a takeaway, but we ate in anyway and enjoyed the beer - kingfisher , Corona, Heineken in bottles - and the food was perfectly acceptable. Of course, a lot of people came in to collect orders but we were expecting this. Food also as expected: not special but as ordered. So it ticked all the boxes for us. Not for the romantic diner but I can't mark a place down that delivered to my expectations... and with a smile.

As others have already mentioned, it feels more like a takeaway with some tables and chairs (some indoor, some outdoor). The food is served in tin foil containers, which is odd, but you are given a plate and cutlery. Service was ok - perfectly pleasant, not fast / not slow. The food tasted fine. I've had tastier curries but I've had a lot worse. I'd be happy to eat there again.
