Definitely THE Spot to be eating at least once when visiting Nice, France. Their Crepes are their specialty and WOW are they delicious. The prices are great and the portions are HUGE. The food is incredible and the service does not fall behind. Everyone is very friendly and the owner is usually walking around. He seems to like interacting with everyone: locals and tourists alike.
We got there and they made sure we were comfortable. The second time we went they sat us down on the outside part and noticed we were just a bit uncomfortable due to the sun and it being hot so they made it work and sat us on the inside.
Make sure to check out their daily special. For us it was a breakfast type of Crepe and then a choice of ice cream, desert style crepe or some other stuff along with a drink. It was so good and we were not able to finish it on our own. The guacamole surprised me because usually guacamole is soggy and tastes weird but their guacamole was amazing as well.All-in-all such a great exoerience and Definitely will return.

Stopped here for brunch before the beach and we enjoyed the great hospitality, large portions, and fun atmosphere.
We didn't get crepes, but instead opted for the prixe fix brunch menu. For under 20 EU we got fresh orange juice, a hot drink (cafe au lait), 6 pancakes, 2 eggs (cooked how you like), and a whole bunch of smoked salmon. Definitely a great deal for a LOT of delicious food.
We did see the crepes come out, and they are HUGE and beautiful. The owner himself was serving them, and he was a hoot - brought them over to us and said, "see these? Yep, not for you" and turned around and gave them to the table who had ordered them. He kept us on our toes the whole time, giving us probably the most enjoyable brunch we had on the trip. He also joked with us that no phones were allowed in the restaurant (hey, always a great reminder).
Definitely recommend if you're looking for brunch in Nice (either savory or sweet!). For logistics: our group speaks limited French, and the menus were in English, our server spoke conversational English, and the owner's English was superb. The seating is right on the street, so you get to watch the market activity.
I went here for one specific crepe after seeing it on yelp. Arrived midday to a mostly empty restaurant, which was delightful considering the main drag it is on (the market). The owner here is hilarious and so enjoyed his banter. Booze prices were cheap, the crepes were a bit pricier than most of the other crepe places, but I appreciated their creativity and for a touristy town like Nice, the prices were still reasonable. Got a bottle of rose and the delicious crepe with almonds and white chocolate. It was amazing, only slightly sweet, lots of almonds. I noticed on the board that they had a killer meal deal that sounded really appealing.
We came here strictly wanting a dessert crepe that was loaded with goodness, and they delivered! We scraped our plates clean. Whole pieces of Ferrero rocher were inside and the outside was covered in Nutella and white chocolate. Fast service. Hit the spot!!
Great crepes! Pôp O Thym is right at the market. They have English menus, and the server speaks limited English. Even though they seem to have a lot of tourist clientele, the crepes are legitimately good.
THE COST: 25,30€ for two crepes and a milkshake. Very affordable.
THE WAIT: None at 11am on a Wednesday. They had some customers, but there were plenty of empty tables outside (it was nice out so no one was sitting inside).
THE FOOD:
MILK-SHAKE
* Frappotella (7,50€) - 3.5 stars
Very intense, nice and thick.
GALETTES SALÉES - Savoury Crepes
* La Jazzthym (7,80€) - 4 stars
We loved that this was crisped on the outside. Great savory filling.
CREPES SUCRÉES - Dessert Crepes
* La Pop-O-Thym (10€) - 4 stars
Good filling sweet crepe. Tons of whipped cream, ice cream was good too. Didn't love the very dry, hard meringue, but we just didn't eat it.
Great crepes place! The chicken in wine sauce with mushroom is delicious! I love that they have a kids menu for picky eaters. My son loved his ham and egg crepe along with his Nutella crepe. His Nutella crepe was better than my chocolate crepe. :)
They have a set lunch menu which is a great value if you want both savory and sweet crepe! Service was great. They had coloring paper for the kids to keep them entertained.
I should have taken a photo before I dug into it :).
I had the smoked salmon crepe with cheese. The salmon was delicious!! I would order again, but next time "light on the cheese". I had to scrape cheese out before eating. It was filled with it ! The place is really cute and feels really authentic. The location is perfect for people watching outside, the market is next to the restaurant. I also had a latte, it was perfect!
This was a pleasant find in Old Town Nice. Savory Crepe was great. We tried both La Cocotte (Ham/Cheese/egg) and La Vafastake (Chicken/Cheese/mushrooms-white wine sauce). Especially liked La Vasastake.
We had both Coffee Fappes and Nutella milk shakes and loved both of them. We also had a couple desert crepes and they were both excellent.
We definitely recommend the 15.5 Euro combination which included a savory crepe, a desert crepe, a drink, and a coffee. A great deal for Nice.
Lastly, definitely ask the owner what Pop O Thym means....
This is such a fun little place that we came across. The menu is huge, and the crepes are delicious. We all got sweet crepes and loved them. Though we only ordered regular coffee, the juices, milkshakes, and Nutella coffees looked so good. It's pretty fairly priced. It's also very open-air, with no door or air conditioning, but it's covered and there are fans when it's hot. The staff is very nice and engaging. We had a great experience and great food!
Great little place for crepes if you're in Nice. We had one savory (cheese) crepe and one sweet (banana, honey, whipped cream) crepe when we came here. Both were excellent.
A bientôt !
