Went here with my daughter and had the roasted chicken and it was very good. Fries were crisp and the server was nice and spoke some English. I really enjoyed eating here. I would recommend. One of the reviews said it was expensive. I had a 1/2 chicken, salad and fries for 15 euros. Pretty cheap for Nice.

The food was not delicious. I ordered mussels as starter, steak as main dish and an amazing chocolate as dessert. When I finished the starter, I started to wait for the waiter to help me to clean up the dishes. Although the waiter already saw our plates were finished, he pretended to ignore us for several times. Only the waitress had noticed us, and help to clean up. The steak I ordered was medium rare, but it came out almost well done and cold after I waited for about 1 hour. And it tasted only the smoky flavor. The time we spent on dinner was almost 2 hours, and most of the time we spent was waiting. Waiting for clean up the dishes, waiting for new dishes...... I won't recommend anyone to have a meal here. The experience was awful.

Food is not bad but the service is not so good. I ordered an set with appetizer, main course and dessert. Except the appetizer served quickly, I waited for the main course and dessert about 20minutes separately. The waiter have seen my empty plate but doing nothing just ignoring until I asked. Definitely I won't go to this restaurant again.

How anyone can give this restaurant a good review is beyond me. I've had so many wonderful dining experiences in my trips to France that range from Michelin rated to excellent holes in the wall, but I would give it a negative star if Yelp allowed it. I should have left after visiting the bathroom which smelled of urine and the floors were wet and slippery. I didn't look into the restaurant much. I saw a picture outside their front patio for beef brochettes that displayed two skewers of beautifully cooked beef with different vegetable in between. I was very hungry and excited for my meal. When it was brought out it looked nothing like the picture that I saw...no vegetables between the skewered meat to be exact (which is what I liked about it) When I brought that up to the servers attention she said that it never comes with vegetables and kind of shrugged after I showed the advertisement to her. I was hungry so I was going to get over it and let it go until I tried eating the food. The salad was under seasoned as well as the soggy fries. The beef itself was well done (I asked for medium), had the consistency of a shoe sole and no flavor. I haven't eaten all day but I was not hungry enough to eat that. The server had me walk over and talk to the owner who pretty much was annoyed at my feed back and offered to get me another dish (I figured they would just spit in it so no thank you). I wouldn't have been as annoyed if he would just acknowledge that what is advertised on the picture looked nothing like the dish that came out of the kitchen. As a compromise I offered to pay for the fries that I ate but not the rest of the dish. My husbands mussels were decent...nothing special and he would rate his food as 3/5 stars but the service as 1/5. As a business owner myself I would take a bit more time to listen to constructive criticism and not just dismiss your clients.

Menu looks very appetizing ! Service is good for France. Be very patient to order food. We ordered the lamb chops & the Caesar salad with chicken here. The bread basket was the best part compared to the food we got. It was fresh and crunchy. The lamb chops meal came out warm and the fries cold. The salad was good and the chicken was defiantly yummy and a good portion. I wouldn't have mind is there was a little more salad on my plate. Overall, the food was ok.

This was right next to our hotel and the fixed menu was a great price, so we gave it a try. Although the staff was very nice and helpful, it was often difficult to get a hold of them--the place had gotten busy and they seemed very busy. My husband's salmon entree was really small which was unusual. But other than that, it was a great experience overall. Great for people watching too.

Great experience! We had fois gras for starters, and a half chicken for main. I ordered the chicken with the truffle cream sauce - tasted absolutely amazing. 50 euros for two 3 course meals and soft drinks. The food itself was really nice (and there was a lot of it) especially for the price we paid. Great location, near the beach front and the square; highly recommended. Staff very nice too!

My family and I ate at the VIP's Grill in August, 2014, and it turned out to be one of the worst travel experiences of my life. I have traveled extensively, lived abroad, and spent hours upon hours wander and eating all over Europe. I know that thieves wander freely, and I know they're always a threat, but I would like to think that when you eat in the middle of an established restaurants patio, you would be afforded some level of safety. I would also like to think that the restaurant cares about your safety and privacy, but that was not the case here. We were roughly 3/4 of the way into our meal when an African street vendor began approaching tables on the outside layer of this grills patio. We watched this all happen, as we were sitting roughly 6 tables down (so the guy had to hit 6 tables undeterred before arriving at our table). We watched two outside waiters and a manager observe this man without saying anything - they didn't ask him to leave their patrons alone, they simply let it happen. When the man hit our table, he got in our faces. He leaned over the table, caused a ruckus, and ultimately distracted us for just enough time to have his accomplice grab my bags and run. I was sitting on the inside of the restaurant, and we found out later the accomplice had been sitting just behind me (courtesy of another guest seeing the suspicious man sneak in and sit at a table for several minutes behind us). Naturally, when I noticed my bags were missing (only a minute or two later), I caused quite a stir on the patio. At this point, a normal person would expect the waiter, and possibly manager, to approach and ask what's wrong. We received no such care. In fact, the waiter avoided our table, and we never had the manager come over. No effort was made to apologize for the disturbance, and no responsibility was taken on the restaurants side. Our only interaction with them after I was robbed was to have us pay the full bill. I know they cannot be held accountable, but in some way, I do feel they could have prevented this simply by asking the street vendor to leave their patrons alone - or by catching the man sitting on their patio unwelcome behind us. The management and staff was inconsiderate during this horrible event, and I will always remember the way they treated myself and my family when my purse and camera were stolen.

J'ai l'habitude de descendre à Nice au Hi hotel et bien sur d'aller à Hi Beach. Jamais une plage n'a été aussi agréable et originale. Toute l'infrastructure est au top: colorée et ludique. La nourriture est vraiment bonne (peu de plage niçoise propose au même tarif des produits de si belle qualité) Le personnel est toujours attentionné et aux petits-soins. A recommander sans modération....
