Super. Le patron vous conseil et la patronne est aux fourneaux
Fantastic. I went here despite it not having many reviews. It's a very small cozy family-run restaurant with a young and amazingly well-behaved boy quietly hanging out and helping occasionally. I had sausage in white wine sauce and ravioli in cheese sauce. Both those sauces had a delicious and down-to-earth flavor. Nothing felt pretentious or overdone or trying too hard to be fancy Parisian, it was all true and honest food that needed no frills because of the great flavor.
As for the service, while the owners do speak English, it isn't their native language so either get great at French or expect there to be a bit of figuring things out. They're very accommodating and provide perfect recommendations and explanations as needed.
Here's the real kicker as far as service. The guy I was there with asked if they had fries (pommes frites, a great many restaurants around have them) and instead of saying "no" our server went back to ask the chef. They offered no excuses, no explanation that "we don't normally carry frites..." they just came out ten minutes later with a large serving of delicious hand-cut fries that they made up on the fly despite it not being a menu item. We would have been perfectly satisfied if they had simply said no, but they just made it happen.
The price was great for the quality.
I'd definitely return!
