—The best sandwich of my life!— My wife and I visited Paris in December, and the Christmas Market was closed. Let me just say that most of Paris sucked...in fact I hated Paris so much I've blocked almost all of it out of my memory except for this place. The service here, the sandwich here, my god the mincemeat sandwich is so delicious... Apparently I was drunk when I first tasted it, and had no recollection of eating it but the man remembered me when my wife took me here the second night to eat it sober. He recalls me repeating over and over that it was "the best sandwich ever"...and it was. This is the only reason I would return to Paris, and I mean it.

Stayed at the First Hotel literally right next door. Wandered in here starving after a long train ride and was pleasantly surprised. The food here is great! It's a small space with character. Not much English spoken inside but not much needed. The panini I had made me want to come back even after dining at some much more expensive spots. Good food, fair priced spirits/wine and friendly atmosphere.

My wife & I stayed at the Hotel Eiffel Segur, right down the street. We ate here at least once a day for 4 days straight. The paninis are so delicious and affordable. The drinks are very good and cheap too! The owner is the best part tho, he shows his appreciation for your patronage and is always on top of things! I would rate 10 stars if I could!
