Machu Picchu Restaurant

The food was good but it doesn't blow your mind. The jar of passion fruit juice was very nice. The waitresses were attentive and the food didn't take too long to be ready. Something we didn't appreciate that much is that an 18% of service was included in the check; we try different restaurants often and the only case were we knew before hand about an extra charge was where the party had 6 people or more, the tip was already included, but this time it was the service, and then they suggested the % tip. We were only 3 people and the place was empty, didn't really understand why 18% of service. I liked the food here but the 15 munute drive and that 18 is not worth it.

BEWARE!!! So my wife and I decided to try this place out . Driving 30 mins away for this spot was the WORST mistake ever! We picked up our food and seen we were overcharged tremendously. We already knew it was overpriced but we still wanted to give it a try. So its not so much about the price but its a whole different when you are being overcharged and dishonest about the prices. Every plate was $3 higher. Eggs were $3.50 online and on their Menu yet our receipt we were charged $5.50 for 2 eggs. The plate was 21.99 on the menu but we wdre charged $25.99 . The food was very dry and no flavor what so ever. So this was a waste of time and money.

Food was horrible! Don’t have taste … we order 2 sudado de pescado and 1 jalea.. jalea taste that was fried many times 🤮🤮Yuca taste old! No good taste either! Terrible place to eat!! The Peruvian corn was old! I asked the manager if she can change it.. and she said they fried all on Friday for the weekend!! Really??? That why tested that a gun.. horrible ..Asked question to the manager and she is in the cloud! perdida en todo! If you are from PERU, do not eat here! You will disappointed!

I normally don’t leave reviews but honestly, the service was not great. We came in and it was dark. They sat us down and the waitress went back to her seat and they did not offer us drinks. A couple came after us and they offered them drinks and gave them an appetizer right away. Horrible service. I don’t recommend.
