In my quest for the perfect veggie sandwich I recently stopped by Panino's. I'm not vegetarian but I love a good veggie sammich.
They have a pretty good selection of vegetarian offerings, so I went with the Mixed Veggie Sandwich- Marinated sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, greens, and a few other tasty toppings.
It wasn't the absolute best veggie sandwich I've had, but it was pretty good. All fresh, quality ingredients.
The staff was friendly, and my food was ready in minutes. They are on the pricey side for a sandwich, but really about average for an upscale deli.
I'll be back.

All Panino deli's are wonderful! I discovered Los Olivos first, soon followed by Solvang, Santa Barbara, Goleta, and now (for the first time) Montecito. The quality is great, the food is fresh and it's easy to order ahead and pick up. I typically get lunch on the way to wine country a few times a year. It's a great find!

Excellent sandwiches. I had the roast beef and it was amazing. The whole wheat sourdough was also quite good. A large selection of sandwiches are available. Parking at the Montecito County Mart can be tough as it is a popular place.
We will return for sure.

We ordered a large amount of sandwiches for our first family get together in a long time and they were all absolutely delicious!! Presentation on platters was beautiful.

This place has the BEST sandwiches! The bread is always fresh (I especially love the baguette and foccacia) and the cheese is good too. The tomatoes sometimes look a little sad (pale, not flavorful) but I'm sure sourcing can be challenging during the off season. My favorites are the #25 artichoke with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil; the traditional caprese; the avocado & provolone; and the turkey and brie.
