Jiu Gong Ge Hotpot

Recommended to eat with friends as the portion for 2 can be quite big. Price is reasonable and seafoods are fresh. You can also order skewers from them which are prepared from another restaurant. The skewers are tasty, unlike other restaurants which could be overly salty or coated with too much cumin powder.

I was here for hot pot dinner with friends 🍲. The food and soup base is tasty, and they have a good variety. The restaurant is clean and environment is nice to dine in. They have the option to topup extra $4 per person for free flow crabs which is value for money. 🦀 Their mushroom soup base is nice. 🍄 They have many choice of sauces and condiments. We spent $36 per perso I hope they can improve in terms of the choice of dessert, as there is only lychee ice cream available. It will be nice if they serve cut fruits and more varieties of ice cream. I noticed their buffet is self service instead of staff service which I thought was not allowed due to Covid 19 regulations. However they do provide gloves for hygiene purpose as the tongs are shared. Date: 12 Feb 2022

Seafood and meat are not in the order list. Each order took the staff almost 30min to serve us and during this 30min, we will have to hasten the staff 2-3 times before it is served. Previous visit to the main outlet at the corner next to the coffee shop, the crabs were really fresh. This time round bring directed to another store nearer to OCBC, the food quality and service really very bad!
