As I got down from the bridge outside Commonwealth MRT station, and looking up at the block number 88 - auspicious number, I was pleasantly surprised at the pretty pink bougainvillea flowers clusters overhanging the corridor wall at the floors above. The ground floor sits the Koufu Food Court. The many stalls offer a variety of food items. It's easy to find a favourite. However I'm having iced milk tea only. It's richly creamy, yet costs $1.50 only. And the staff is polite too. Nice.

First time trying their thunder tea rice today. the whole point of thunder tea rice is the generous amount of vegetables (as there will be no meat unless you top up) and the soup. However to my surprise the amount of vegetables i got from this stall were so skimpy at the price tag of 6.8 sgd! the cost of vegetables are not even high to begin with. The soup portion was so small. Taste wise the soup was not bad. Just find the amount of vegetables does not correspond with the high price tag.
So disappointing!

There is a curry Chee cheong fun stall here and while it is a Substantial portion with lots of ingredients ( I ordered the $6.50 which has fried pig skin, taukee, roasted pork, char siew , fried meatballs) the curry was on the sweet side. Not spicy enough. Three are two types of chilli paste :
One dark red sweet one (meh)
One orangy slightly sourish spicy ( preferred choice )
At first I was impressed with the portion but the taste frankly is only so-so. After eating it halfway , start to feel "jelat" coz curry is sweet instead of spicy, and the cold fried meatballs contain more flour than meat . The roasted meat and char siew were cold and slightly tough.

Only 1 halal stall & food so-so. The stall uses the mobile dics system but never activates it when food is ready. As for the food court, there seems to be no halal food tray return.

The food court is located near to the Commonwealth MRT and is just opposite to Sheng Siong. There are plenty of stalls - vegetarian, Korean, and Fish Soup - to name a few that I’ve tried. The food is generally good, with quite a good pricing.

The veg food is nice. Chinese mixed rice is expensive for that portion. Char siew and roasted pork rice meat can be nicer. Have indoor and outdoor seating.

Short walk from Commonwealth MRT station.
Good food range. Nice drinks menu. Aircon yes WiFi no.
Try their Tomato Noodles Ramen or Curry Chee Cheong Fan.

Rainy weather just now so opt for Tom yum seafood ban mian. They forgotten to put fish, so I went to the auntie, she said only 2 slices then added it in. S$4.80. The attitude soso, but I like their Tom yum ban mian. I would order pork one( S$4) instead, as their seafood not that fresh too.
