Dawood Restaurant

Another good choice if you’re looking for some Food around Jalan Besar Station. This is an Indian restaurant recommended by one of the hostel staffs. This Dawood Restaurant Located just right across the street from Berseh Food Centre. So many menu items on the board and a few table outdoor. In Singpore, you more likely will see so many Indian food places look like this. The dish was served fast as all the curries were already pre-made. The mutton curry was so thick and flavourful. So much spice in there we could tell. The Prata was super good. It’s crispy in the outer part and soft inside just like we all love. I know you do!

Indian Muslim Coffeeshop that is located at the corner of Rowell Road. This is a nice place to chill, chit chat, pass time or to have a teh tarik and a quick bite .They have a nice range of food on their menu and some cooked dishes on display to go with rice. Food served here is average only. Nonthing fantastic as its just another place to fill your hungry stomach. Prices are reasonable too. The staffs here are ok too. Opens 24/7.

The dishonest lady over the cashier has different pricing that's inconsistent and confusing. I'm a regular here and she even tried to charge 2 dollars for a drink that usually cost 1.30. It has food menu that state different prices. The food quality has dropped since one of the chef left. Overall this business is going to run itself out of business with dishonesty and dropping food quality. Complete waste of time.

Used to be really good. Now they just simply charge. They have 2 different menus with different pricing. In 1 menu, chicken chop said is sgd 7 another menu it says sgd 10. And weirdly, she charge me sgd 8 and tell me nonsense when I saw the menu price is sgd 7 by pulling our a sgd 10 menu to show me. And lemon ice for sgd 1.80? Crazy place! I dono how this work? Can report police?
