Hudson Social

This is a go to location for my best friend and I who lives in stamford. We decided to do ladies night with a mutual friend here because we knew it would be good The food never disappoints. I will say the bartender needs some work because I always have to have my drink sent back to be corrected whenever I do go. It is a cozy spot (wish the lighting was brighter) but other than that I'll always love Hudson Social.

“ first time visit at Stamford in winters , found this restaurant in downtown. I find it interesting because nice crowd was siting inside the restro. Menu has pizza options, so i ordered one veg pizza and found something new the pizza was totally different than the regular one , all the veg toppings of the pizza were not cooked in oven they actually threw all the uncooked veggies on the pizza . Taste was ok but it was like cheese pizza and added salad on top of it“

A pure disappointment. While the place was buzzing outside- the inside was empty and yet we had to wait 30min for our drinks and 40 for our tasteless oysters to hit the table. After we finished our oysters that seemed to have been rinsed out of their sea water - it took an extra 20min to bring the rest of the food out (we are two people). Their avocado toast was made with stale bread and with barely any avocado and boiled eggs. Which is mentioned NOWHERE. The huevos rancheros are IKEA style, meaning you gotta build it ourself. Honestly not great and I will not come back.

I enjoyed this place as a bar. A large selection of craft beers moderately priced. The staff was very friendly. The food was not spectacular. The descriptions on the menu were much better than we actually got. I got a turkey club and the turkey was round and look like it came out of a supermarket package. The fries had aioli but he wouldn't know. My wife had a waffles and chicken. Chicken way over fried waffles burnt. But a nice place to socialize

Great food, visited this location twice and I absolutely love the Steamed Mussels they serve for Happy Hour, I had to order this when I went for my second visit. The staff were very responsive, and friendly. During this occasion I was eating alone and the staff came by often checking in and making conversation. Overall great spot especially for the price, although happy hour is only Wednesday-Friday it is a top pick for me.
