Southern Brewing Wine Making

It’s nice to find a brewery that also makes wine. I’m not a huge beer fan but I love wine and also enjoy ciders. This place had a lot of variety and they were so chill about letting us sample different flavors before settling on one to buy. They do offer food though their kitchen was already closed when we got there (around 9pm). There was a food truck outside which had some good food options! Nice atmosphere and enjoyable beverages.

This brewery has a nice selection of beers and a large bar with ample seating. There’s also a seating area with a couch and chairs and an outdoor area. We tried the cream ale which we both enjoyed, but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to stay longer and try more. Also to note is that they sell supplies here for home brewing. Will definitely visit again.

What a delightful way to spend Saturday evening. Southern Brewing and Winemaking provided the perfect backdrop for an extravaganza of mesquite grilled food by Chef Rene and his team. All four courses were delicious and there are plenty of beers in the Southern Brewing repertoire to suit any and all palettes. The appetizer was grilled king prawns, followed by a perfectly grilled tri-tip steak served with mesquite cactus and a tortilla. Delicious, especially when paired with a flavorful hoppy IPA from Southern Brewing. The next course was grilled quail, then we ended with grilled mango and ice cream for desert which I paired with a delicious malty ale. We enjoyed our evening very much and will undoubtedly becback to Southern Brewing to try more of Chef Rene’s food paired with beers from Southern Brewing.

Great spot to relax and unwind with a great beer. Definitely enjoyed the outside seating, it was a beautiful day for it. We enjoyed some sours and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back! Update: Came back again and sat at the bar inside this time. Same great beers on the menu, same great experience. Definitely on our regular rotation list.

What started out as a homebrew/winemaking supply store, is now one of the best kept secret brewery in the northern Tampa Bay area. The outdoor patio area is awesome and parking is pretty easy. I definitely recommend grabbing some delicious food from the food truck across the street! The craft beer selection is always unique styles, especially sour beers!
