The only crepe I've ever had in France..but WAOW the best crepe I've ever had in my life. I'm seriously mind blown by how much American's ruin crepes. Their crepes are perfectly thin, crisp and the light layer of fried cheese added a nice contrasting texture. I got the ratatouille so there was also a mushy texture from the tomatoes. It was seriously texture overload, but in a good way! They offer a special combo where you get a full sized crepe + a dessert crepe for those that have a sweet tooth craving. Worth it! This place is walking distance from Palace of Versailles. If I ever return to Versailles I would 100% eat here again.

After the long waits at Versailles, my friends and I were all fairly hungry. We decided to go for some crepes and found this online. The crepes were extremely well done - the porous and thin crepes made for delicious and crispy bites. We ended up getting three crepes between the three of us, which was enough to fill us up. I personally was a big fan of the savory crepes. The cheeses they used were incredible, and the mixture of flavors were perfect. Overall, I would definitely return and try more of the crepe options. The main concern for the place was that unfortunately the service was rather poor - they were understaffed and it was impossible to get the attention of them.

This is conveniently located near the Versailles Palace. It's on a cute street along with a handful of other cafes. There's a language barrier if you are English-speaking but they try their best to translate. If you come in the afternoon make sure you are seated before 14:15 because they close promptly at that time and don't reopen until 19:00. As with all French cafes the restaurant is relatively small but there is outdoor seating as well. They have a lot of options for savory and sweet crepes. Your mind will be blown once you eat here. The crepes are nothing like what you've eaten in the U.S. They are thin and crispy in Paris instead of a flat dense pancake-esque crepe. All of the dishes we ordered were thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. The poached pear was so delicious and I loved the ratatouille as well. I'm not big on smoked salmon but my family said it was great. I didn't get a chance to try their sweet crepes but they looked very tasty. This place is a perfect lunch spot on a sunny day.

Crepes were awesome. Delicious and presentation or the way they wrap them was different and cool. But alcoholic cocktails were not so good at all.

When you're visiting the Versailles palace and finished touring, you gotta try this crepe place that's nearby and on the way to the train station. It was packed when we arrived. Luckily there was just one table left for two. We got there a little after prime lunch hour. I had a savoury crepe which was made of buckwheat served with chorizo, cheese and pepperoni. It was great. The crepe itself was light, with just the right amount of filling. The edges were crispy. And the raw egg yolk on top made it creamy. I could of had two of their crepes. My wife got the guemene which is a French sausage made of pork intestines. Perhaps not many tourists order this dish because the server warned her that it's very French. "Perfect," she said, "just what I want - local food!" They should recommend this dish to more tourists! The taste and texture of the sausage was yummy and paired well with the emmental cheese. Her crepe was also perfectly cooked. You're eating and treated well here for about €10 per crepe!

We decided to opt out of a fancy meal in Versailles after visiting the Chateau de Versailles and I had searched this place ahead of time. I made a booking for 9:30 but we ended up going to the place at 7:30. The staff was really friendly and seated us despite our reservation as nowhere near the time we got there. The server was patient with our questions and requests even though we didn't speak French. The environment is kind of like paying for a 5 star meal without having the stress of holding yourself to 5 star manners. The lighting was ambient and the people were pretty casual. The food was the highlight of this place. My mom had the salmon ratatouille and that was amazing. I had the black pudding and apple sauce buckwheat crepe and that was also an amazing combination of flavors. For dessert we had chantilly cream and the pear crepe with chocolat blanc. Very satisfied with this restaurant and would definitely visit again when I'm in Versailles.

On our last night in France, my husband and I wanted something quick, casual, inexpensive, and delicious. We had our hotel call us a reservation and were able to get seated right when we got there. We were greeted warmly and given English menus. The service was great and they were very helpful- there were no issues with us speaking very little French. The galette and crepe combo deal is an amazing deal. Any galette, crepe, and drink (cider) for 13.90 euro (+2 on weekends)- can't beat that considering their crepes are about 10 euro each to begin with. Their galettes are open faced and are delicious. They are crispy and filled with yummy toppings- I got smoked salmon, cheese, egg, and mushrooms and my husband got ratatouille, sausage, egg, and cheese. For dessert, we each got a crepe with Nutella, caramel, and ice cream. So good! They were the best we had all trip. Highly recommend this place.

We stopped here by chance after finding another creperie too busy to serve us. This little restaurant had the best crepes of our entire stay in greater Paris. The pizza crepe was so delicious that my daughter is going to only have pizza in a crepe from this point forward! And here dark chocolate banana crepe was devoured quickly! We enjoyed the recommended buckwheat crepe crepes as well (cheeses, mushrooms, eggs ; ham, cheese, pear, & Roquefort sauce). We wish it wasn't so far to return for another meal

True, I have a weakness for crêpes. If I lived in Versailles, I would be a regular here. In the sea of mediocre overpriced bistros, le Blé Noir stands out as reasonably priced, good quality food, in a charming setting. Arrived at 8:30 or so on Sunday night without reservation, and were seated right away. NB: we spoke only French with the staff, so can't comment on their response to English-speakers.

Really lovely little restaurant which we were steered to by other Yelpers. And once again we have a winner (thanks Yelp). This is a small place which is very family friendly. A wide variety a delicious savory crepes were available. I had one of the leek varieties which had a delicious buttery leek "sauce" and was awesome. The spinach was similar. The kids had cheese/ham crepes which were also delicious. We had a lovely bottle of wine (Sauvignon) which our waiter recommended and which was perfect with the crepes and very well priced. After reading all of the grousing about surly French service (which is 100% inaccurate in my experience, service has been really lovely throughout our stay) why does no one mention how unbelievably inexpensive and delicious the wine is? If they drank more and wrote less perhaps it would work out better for everyone? On my next trip here I will try a bottle of the cider, which all of the locals seemed to be drinking. Perhaps I will learn something as I've always found English cider to be too sweet for food. Maybe the French know something different? Lemon crepes for dessert were a revelation for the kids who had never had it before. Until now they thought the height of dessert crepe technology was Nutella. They are now converts to the wonder and deliciousness of the lemon crepe. Go here for lunch after a long morning of royalty and revolution at the castle, you won't be disappointed.
