Lovely coffee shop. A delightful find if you are an Australian (or otherwise) coffee lover trying to find that perfect latte or cap in Europe. Cakes and sandwiches a great option too, can't go wrong!

The Stray Bean was a cute little coffee shop just down the street of the Palace of Versailles. Considering there was only one person at the time, service was really good & friendly. Their americanos were on point as well as the matcha lattes. The banana breads and other pastries were really delicious too, we had to get seconds! Definitely recommend.

Finding The Stray Bean just down the street from the Palace of Versailles was like stumbling upon an oasis in the desert! Okay, maybe not that dramatic, but after a 50-minute ride on the RER C from Champ de Mars station (near the Eiffel Tower) to Gare de Versailles, my husband and I wanted to fuel up for more "turbo sightseeing" at Chateau Versailles with something delicious and, of course, some coffee! As we walked down the street from the train station towards what looked like a street full of restaurants/cafes/shops, we passed many unappealing food places, and luckily saw The Stray Bean from across the street. It's the perfect place to stop in to "warm up" for your adventures in Versailles! We absolutely enjoyed a pair of cafe lattes with oat milk (yes they have it!), and shared an Avocado Tartine (Toast) and a bowl of wonderfully delicious and comforting Butternut Squash Soup! On this particularly chilly late morning, it was all exactly what we needed to warm up and fuel up for our early afternoon jaunt at The Palace! Great food, great coffee, friendly service, and even WiFi! Merci beaucoup Le Stray Bean!

This must be one of the best places I have ever tried. I got the big breakfast and I was so happy with the service, food quality and the best coffee. If you are going to Versalles this is a must!

I found the only place open at that one street near château de Versailles , they have good fresh juice and not much selection for breakfast or pastry. The place is really cute and the workers are very friendly, they speak French and English so it was easy to order. I didn't order coffee but the beet juice were good. The muffins were good too, the price were not cheap but not expensive. It's just a nice little cafe with free WiFi

This place is surprisingly good. The espresso shots were right on point and the milk have no bubbles. Just smooth sweet right texture as how frosted milk should be. We are genuinely surprised about the amazing quality of this little shop

Lived up to the high expectations! This little gem is a stone throw from the main train station in Versailles. Definitely start your day here before going out to explore the sights. I had the lunch option with the pastrami toast, an espresso and warm banana bread. DELICIOUS and made with love I'm sure of it! The food tastes as good as it looks. For coffee buffs, this place knows their coffee and its expertly prepared. Price point is great. Stopped in for breakfast, we'll be coming back for lunch.

We went here for a quick coffee and breakfast before visiting the Palace of Versailles. We arrived around 8:45 on a Saturday morning and were the only ones there. More people starting to enter about half an hour later. We each got a coffee (Americano and espresso) and they're about 2.50-4 euros apiece. For breakfast, we each got the avocado, which is 3 slices of avocado toast, a small lightly-dressed salad, and quinoa with chickpeas. The plate is enough to satisfy anyone and was a deliciously light way to start a full day of sightseeing. For about 7 euros, the price was just right, considering the proximity to a major tourist attraction. Plus, water was free and came from a self-service station to the side of the ordering counter. The owner is a laid-back guy from Australia who was very upbeat and sociable. He was extremely friendly from the beginning and very attentive. Overall, a highly recommended place to start the day in Versailles.

Amazing little coffee shop. Ordered cafe creme, carrot cake, lemon cake, fresh squeezed orange juice and it was all sublime. Perfection. Great free WiFi too! They have non dairy milk options, oat and soy.

What a nice place for a morning coffee. Our family had a hot chocolate, a flat white, a cappuccino, and a double espresso. The service was excellent.

So glad we found this place on our first day in Versailles so we could go back on the second day! The avocado toast served with the carrot and quinoa salads was fabulous, as was the oat milk latte and pistachio bread! My companion had the salmon toast, which they loved, and the berry muesli bowl, which was declared to be the best thing they've eaten in a long time! Fresh squeezed OJ and delicious tea rounded out the perfect breakfast!
