Le Fou Du Roy

So, the restaurant was naming the plates with the names of people from the French history (mostly Louis XVI era) and sending them randomly to every guests. Don't ask me why I got Marie Antoinette lol. Let's hope I will adopt only her great charms, some of her good characters and prosperous life side, but not her destiny and certainly not the way her life was ended lol. Started with a combination of salmon pate and other fish pate, which made into like a terrine, followed by steamed salmon with vegetable and mashed potatoes, then followed by not only one, but two! Two desserts lol. It was their specialties, but I never really like any cooked salmon, prefer to eat them raw, so..I'm frankly not the right person to judge about the food lol. It was just okay for me and eatable, as the salmon was tender and not too salmon smelly, but again, it was not really enjoyable for me. But the dessert and champagne, my my...heavenly. The caramel vanilla pudding was light and fluffy, while the chocolate cake was super thick and yum! The chocolate was perfect between milky and bitter. And the champagne? I drank 5 and a half glasses alone 🙊, in the middle of the day lol. Nuff said 😂 The place was nice with such a cottage feeling, service are good and fast and friendly enough.
