St. George Restaurant

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch this afternoon at the St. George Restaurant. I had the pork schnitzel. It was quite good and served very hot. My friends had the chicken schnitzel. They also enjoyed their meal. The restaurant was clean and spacious. There was lots of parking. The restaurant is close to St. Jacob's Farmers Market. I placed my credit card in the picture so you can see the size of the schnitzel. Good food, reasonable prices.

There's a NEW CHEF now (he started in October 2017) and the food is absolutely sensational! We had a gathering of 4 and we tasted each other's food. Oh, my! I can say this is my favorite restaurant in Kitchener-Waterloo! Can't wait to go again. Actually, I am planning to go tonight. The only downside is ... the portions are HUGE. Really, they are too big for a normal person. But because is so good, you'll try to eat everything... I recommend you share or ask to take half home.

Friendly service, fantastic menu options and overall a warm atmosphere. Owners are welcoming and friendly with kids. Lots of seating and parking. If you are a fan of fish, I'd recommend bass as it's grilled to perfection yet moist. Stewes and grill meat are a definite hit and come with a generous portion of sides. Won't be disappointed.

Lovely dinner yesterday. Interesting menu, wonderful meal that was perfectly served by our waiter. Didn't get a drinks menu but a glass of cognac was only $4.5. I had the SHOPSKA SALAD and that was really the best salad I had in Canada. We also had SERBIAN TRADITIONAL PARTY PLATTER (FOR 2) and that could easy feed 3 people. We had lots of meats to take home:-)
