Please come give this mom & pop restaurant a try while you're in Kauai. I overheard the owner mentioning he usually closes in December to take all of the employees on vacation, however cannot this year due to income being slow. He also walks from home that's close to work every day. Please help keep this diner open for as long as possible! Hidden gem of a local diner serving homey Hawaiian food with good service, would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon! As a Viet, I would never order pho in Hawaii but I would definitely come here to order the oxtail soup as a morning hangover cure any day.

We stopped in for brunch. We were told we had to try Loco Moco while in Kauai. I must say, for as odd as it sounded, it is very good. It is hearty, that is for sure. The stuffed shrimp Benedict was off the charts delicious as well. This place is a hole in the wall and is exactly what I look for on vacation. The people were very kind and the service was prompt as well. Definitely recommend!

We had breakfast here Oct 2023. The atmosphere is more hectic diner than cozy cafe😆. But the people were very nice and the food was DELICIOUS. I got the stuffed French toast, which was great! But I had regrets after tasting the Ribeye Sandwich the waiter talked my husband into. One of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had anywhere, hands down. My kids got the chicken and waffles and the chili and chicken. Again the chicken was great. Mild in flavor, but crispy and juicy. We keep debating on going back but want to try as many places as possible before we leave. If not for that, we would probably keep returning to try our way through their menu! 😅

2nd time I've ever eaten here and 2nd time I forgot to take a pic of my food. Great place, great prices, and great Loco Moco! Also great Early Bird special - awesomely priced. Crew, family, workers all work together and aim to take care of everyone. Old, local style cafe, where you love to go on a Sunday with, or without the family. Nice work, ono food! 🤙✌ Sorry, went back again hungry and forgot to take pics before eating - again. 😜 9/2023 Had the Oxtail Soup and Mini Loco Moco for lunch. Auwe! Onolicious to da max!! And great prices too. Old school place. 80 / 20 tourists to locals but still a good place for your local food rush. Nice job! 😉 🤙✌️
