Vinaccio Coffee

I really like Vinaccio's coffee, and used to support it as a local coffee shop over Starbucks. But I've been very disappointed in their lack of care about protecting public health during this pandemic. There was only a brief period in 2020 when anyone was wearing masks. But even then, they seemed to forget that the nose is indeed a part of the respiratory system and just had them over their mouths, and touched and adjusted them over and over, etc. In summer 2021 when mask mandates came back for the county and then state, I asked a barista why nobody was wearing masks and they said the Department of Health hadn't specifically told THEM they need to or given them an individual, formal notice about it, and until they did they were "just going to continue to do what they've been doing." So Starbucks it is, then, because at least I know they follow health guidelines better.

Good coffee -- not overly sweet, which is great, in my book. Top notch service, very friendly staff. Has a drive-thru. Lots of dairy-free milk options, a unique Dark Chocolate mocha, and the best Chai anywhere in the Seattle area, made by the owner. This place is my favorite place to sit down with coffee in Monroe. The shop has a small seating area, but it's much more "comfy small coffee shop" than it is "too small to be comfortable", as many small shops can be.
