A hidden vegetarian restaurant. A bit pricey, but I was going as part of a work dinner, so I wasn't too price-sensitive to the menu. The vegan "cheese board"/tasting board was really good; it surprised me how much one could do with plant-based ingredients. I recommend it to at least see your non-vegan colleagues be shocked at its deliciousness. I remember how I felt when I saw the menu; I was so happy to see so much variety at a restaurant that I didn't know what to pick, so I picked what fascinated me the most. I got the mushroom loaf with blackberry ginger sauce, and my colleague got the skewers...I think. They were good; I was fascinated by the blackberry sauce. I don't remember the dish too much, but the sauce was good. Overall, I recommend going here as a treat.

Excellent menu choices. The food was lovely and generous portions. Fast service, comfortable surroundings if a little too cozy. Not too loud, pleasant staff.

Before heading into the Louvre, we had a tasty lunch at a vegetarian restaurant called Végét'Halles. We shared the Beignet de tofu avec sa Vegannaise (Tofu fritters with vegan mayonnaise) and a Burger Végét'halles with frites! We also spent a fair amount of time fighting over the water and whether we were going to be charged for it. The short answer was yes, so maybe we shouldn't have asked for any.

I enjoyed my visit to this all vegetarian restaurant (with many clearly marked vegan options on the menu). We came for lunch and I ordered the duo (entree & plat). I had the vegetable fritters to begin, and this was a pretty large portion for a starter! For my main meal I ordered the mushroom loaf, which came with a DELICIOUS sauce (some sort of berries, I think?). I would eat that sauce on basically anything. The mushroom loaf also came with rice (left most of that behind, nothing special), potatoes (pretty basic, but great dipped in the sauce), and a pea purée. This meal was a huge portion compared to many of the other places I visited in Paris. I also ordered the ACE (apple, carrot, and lemon) juice with my meal - loved that. The service here was friendly and prompt. I liked the ambiance inside. I think fellow plant based friends and meat eaters alike would enjoy the offerings here.

I am totally loving the fact there are so many vegetarian choices these days in Paris - maybe I never looked in the right places or maybe new places continue to open but whatever the case, Saveurs Végét'Halles was a delicious choice for our first evening's meal We'd asked a Conceirge to help us identify somewhere walkable & veggie & he directed us here & even called ahead to secure reservations - you'll want to do the same as they were fully booked for the evening!! Ordered the mushroom pate to start & it was extremely flavorful & savory - paired with onion jam & baguette - this was so delish! Main dishes included the Spinach & Chevre Tart for the Mr - there was an abundance of spinach & I am not a fan so I didn't even taste it but the Mr said it was hearty & the chevre offered that extra flavor layer to make it even better I chose the Mushroom Loaf with a fruit reduction sauce ( I think it was blackberry? ) and assorted veggie sides like wild rice, warmed lettuce & carrots, and lentils. This was SO GOOD! Just like a meatloaf and thoroughly delish! The Mr said while he liked his dish, the mushroom loaf was better We also noticed lots & lots of people ordering their Veggie Burger - made us want to come back & indulge - and we have plans to do just that on our next visit! Desserts included the Apple Crumble & their Sesame Tiramisu & we split these - the tiramisu was very light & whipped like a mousse & had that slight peanut buttery taste - incredible! The apple crumble was hearty & loved the thick & crumbly crust - both winners! Paired it all with a delish Brouilly & we enjoyed a wonderful welcome to the City of Lights.

We found this restaurant based on yelp reviews. The menu selection was great, given we are vegetarian, though the food itself was not as good as other vegetarian restaurants in the City. We started with the Assiette Végét'Halles and then my partner ordered the Croustille Burger and I had the Brochettes de Kebab végétal. We had the Crumble aux fruits rouges for dessert. The flavor was okay, though not outstanding. The ambiance was quite casual, which may have impacted our enjoyment. It was very busy and there seemed to be a lot of movement all around us. It is likely we will be back due to limited vegetarian options though this would be my third choice (out of the three vegetarian dinner restaurants we visited).

Not sure how I should rate this, but I ultimately decided to bump it up to 4 stars. My husband and I are both vegetarians, BUT we do not eat onion, garlic, leeks, or chives. Being a vegetarian/vegan is already a bit of a challenge in France without the other part of our dietary restrictions playing part (the fromageries I've visited in Paris also seem to have only non-vegetarian cheeses thus far, which seriously saddens me) but Veget'Halles actually has a special no onion/garlic menu. I don't know why they have one and am quite curious, but they do. It's basically a list of foods they make that do not contain those spices set on a separate laminated sheet of paper. I typically eat early so we slowly (I thought) walked our way over on a Friday night (the European thing of restaurants having specific dinner hours is killing me here). We were still 10 minutes early, but after we wasted a bit of time, we returned and hesitantly walked in 1 minute early. Almost all of the tables already had pieces of paper resting on them for people that had reserved in advance. I think there were only 2 tables or so left; the remainder consisted of outside seats. We got seated at a small table for two in between two other small tables; I knew I was going to have fun getting out because those 2 tables had been reserved and their parties were very prompt. In fact, within a minute of us being seated, most of the reserved tables were filling up. The first person who seated us looked at us in confusion when we mentioned they had a no onion/garlic menu when we were given their normal menu. Shortly after, another guy took the menu in question and handed it to us. I guess not all the staff know that they had one... or they don't often encounter vegetarians/vegans with that request and had forgotten they had one. Although what we could eat covered the entire page (yay!), I admit I wanted more French-oriented foods. Unfortunately, those were off limits to us. I was stuck with staring at my neighbors through my peripheral vision ordering what I wanted to order. Even so, I was still pretty happy to have a hot, sit-down meal without worrying about onions or garlic. We ended up getting 3 entrees to share: Vegetarian "Chicken" Kabob (with sides of sauteed veggies/mushrooms, lentils, and wild/brown rice), Vegetarian "Fish" in Sweet & Sour Sauce (with the same sides), and the mixed salad with the raisin chutney (also with the same sides). It came with a bowl of cut bread. The man taking our order looked surprised when we ordered 3 main dishes. My husband ate about 65% of it and he could easily finish 5 servings of the rice so since most of the food consisted of "sides", he had no problem with it. We cleaned off all our plates with no problem as well as our bread helped along with the olive oil that was on the table. Taste-wise, the food tended to be heavy on the faux-meat - at least on our menu - and my husband didn't really want a burger (we are visiting from the States). It was actually a bit reminiscent of the all-vegetarian, no onion/garlic [and Asian] restaurants in Houston I can eat at, so I wasn't overly impressed. However, the food was more fresh and less salty/greasy, which I enjoyed a lot. Their rice was tender and lightly seasoned. I did like it - don't get me wrong - it was just nothing special because it was similar to what I've had. Probably why I like cooking at home for the variety, haha. I did like the salad entree, since that was less similar to what I'm used to and the raisin chutney was pretty good. Asians tend not to like raw veggies as much so that was new. Food was good and on the healthy side. The location was easy to find and the decor as well as atmosphere was nice. They apparently do get booked up but we were lucky, so you might want to try making reservations if you plan on going. The place isn't particularly small, but if you're sitting in between two smaller tables with only 4 inches or so in between the tables, it can get a little tight. The staff seemed to know some basic English, though we appeared to be the only foreigners when we were dining there - everyone else appeared to be French (yay for French vegetarians/vegans!). We were offered after dinner drinks/desserts but decided to pass as we were a little on the full side. To be quite honest, if I could try something more French on their menu, this would be 5 stars. As it were, I suppose it gets a solid 4 stars.

It is challenging to be vegan while traveling. My family dined in this restaurant 3 times during our 10-day visit in Paris. The host and the staff though speak limited English are very friendly. The menu is in French and English, that makes it easier to order. We've tasted the following dishes on our visits: - Mushroom pâté with onion jam - Curry rolls - Tofu fritter with vegan mayonnaise (though we preferred the sauce that come with the curry rolls for the tofu) - Assiette Composée that consists of raw vegetables, tofu, mushroom pâté, onion jam, legume of the day, hummus, black olive tapenade, marinated red peppers and aubergines - Shrimp Kebab that is marinated in pineapple and lemon grass sauce - Mushroom loaf with a blackberry-ginger sauce - Crispy Burger with chips and salad - Eggplant and vegetable soy protein in coconut-basil sauce - Assiette du Sportif - Crubmle du jour - Lots of choices of vegan wines. The restaurant is located in the 1e arrondissement, a very vibrant and diverse neighborhood, and a walking distance to Notre-Dame Cathedral but it's not frequented by tourists. Most eaters are French. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely dine here in all of our future trips to Paris.

Dined there with my spouse and really enjoyed the meal. I had the 3 course meal and my spouse just the entree. Starter was a beignet with a raisin sauce which was delicious. Chicken with mushroom sauce was next. Fantastic! Hard to believe the chicken was plant based. Followed by carrot cake which was also fantastic. My wife's basil linguine was good but needed more basil to punch up the flavor. All in all a wonderful dining experience I will repeat when in Paris again. Highly recommend it.

We came here two nights in a row...yes, that's how much we line the food and the whole menu. If wet lived here, we'd probably eat here a few times a week. Yes, contrary to he general opinion, we've found some really cool vegan locations in Paris. And veget'halles will be in my top three. The service is fantastic - friendly, unintrusive, easy. Yes, this is a very nice place.

Lieu calme, grand et plats très bons et copieux. Le menu de 18€ fait l'affaire, nous avons pris le poulet végétal et le Steak de seitan, délicieux tous les deux 😋
